I’ve looked at so many different aftermarket mufflers for this car, this by far is the cleanest best sounding one. Will be buying for my 2019 soon. Eventually a bolt on turbo kit from AVO will make its way in there as well.

I’m reading all these comments and all you old heads need to shut up. Times are changing and this is what people do now. They want to make their car nice even if it’s not some super car. Changing your exhaust to make it sound nicer doesn’t make the person a ricer or some homo. There’s a difference of making things nicer and being a ricer. Throwing camber style on a car that shouldn’t have it seems a little wild but that’s just me. Everyone is going to do their own thing to their own cars if y’all got a problem with it than you can be their mother and buy their shit for them then.

Its a proper muffler replacement and not some ebay fartcan like ricers put on civics. And unlike those its not excessively loud it just a bit loud but major difference is how proper boxer sound gets through while stock kills it to a point where it sounds like any other super muffled 4 cylinder. I will buy this Borla exhaust as soon as i can afford it

Yeah, the stock exhaust is underwhelming and I wouldn't be surprised if it limits performance by a good bit considering how large the muffler is.

I just installed this on my 2016 crosstrek premium and it sounds amazing....has the Subaru thump....but if you are looking for a loud exhaust this isn't it ...sounds same as stock when cruising and has a nice deep tone when under load....

Just my opinion, the 13-17 sounds the best with a muffler delete through a cherry bomb, 18+ sounds the best with the Nameless 5" muffler.

If you're used to driving non economy cars (corolla which I came from) then of course it is. But for what it is, it packs more punch and pep then what I owned. Also, because the love of cars transcend common sense. Actually picked up the Borla for my Crosstrek; no regrets.

The Outlander I mean if you buy a subie you got to get an exhaust if you know cars and have a good taste you would know that Subarus have a very unique sound because of the boxer engine. If you think this sounds bad then maybe you shouldn't own a Subaru and get yourself a nice Prius

James Lento I know what the unique boxer engine sounds like, but it's from UEL headers not just a rinky dink catback exhaust. Even then, there are no performance gains from the headers. I was looking at the same brand of exhaust for my JK a while back and was unimpressed by the sound it makes with that setup as well.
