Hey there. Awesome video, but I had a side question. You said you were trying to absolutely minimize your weight. What weight did you get down to? I know the BRZ/FRS/86 is normally right under 2,800lbs. Mine is 2,840lbs because I have larger tires and a big sound system (it's my daily driver). I was curious if you got to like 2,600lbs or lower with it stripped like that?

Why does the shifting look so smooth? When looking at your gauge it seems almost like an automatic. I just got my BRZ a few months ago and the rpms seem to shoot up a little bit once in a while when depressing the clutch.

I had a similar setup except I had the 60s. Sounded the same with less rasp with a catted front pipe. I could only last 1 day and got a different exhaust. It's amazing sounding but I don't want to get pulled over :((((

You can't add UELs to a N/A and keep it quiet only thing I would add to your setup is a Vibrant Super Quiet 18" resonator get that rasp out and shes good to go.

Anthony Lizana well weight of that piece is around 6lbs depends on length. I like your idea and the note of the exhaust sorry if i came off as some of these other ass-hats. I've worked on N/A Subaru exhausts for a long while so was just adding my $0.02 with the rasp cleaned up it'll really be a sweet sounding car. If you want to save quick weight and be able to feel it a resonator isnt your enemy :) Enjoy your car.

I've never researched them since I've always already had my Borlas, but I bet they make better power and I know they would be way higher quality. The Borlas are literally the lowest quality headers available, as far as I know. That said, mine have been great and have not cracked or anything.

+MitchellWeiser Catless isn't always a guarantee for throwing a check engine light. I also have a cold air intake, a full pulley set, and a very light flywheel, and to this day, I've never seen a CEL.

+Anthony Lizana i'm a bit confused about this theme, usual the checklight have to get on because there is there is a second lambda probe behind of the kat wich monitors the kat. so when the kat doesn't work or there is no kat, the on board diagnosis throws the check light.

I have to say I love how the FRS/BRZ looks, but the performance is sub par.. The acceleration isn't that fast considering it is a bolt on completely stripped interior car. Looks like it's about as fast as a STOCK S2000. :/

I have to say, I really love the white with all red tail lights - that's my favorite combo on these cars. Especially with a Carbon trunk. They look damn good with the right mods. I'm sure they can be made fast, too, but naturally aspirated BRZ/FRS just doesn't do it for me. :(

+JobeMinacum Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. If you go into my videos, you'll see the second most recent one is a track video. I caught and passed an Audio TT RS in that video. Not caught on video, but the same day, I also passed a few M3's, an M5, a Z4 M-sport, a Cayman GT4, a GT-R, and other lesser but still-faster-than-me cars. Granted I was in the beginner class, so I simply out-drove them, but I was also the least experienced person in my class by a LOT. I have a 350 crank hp/340 ft/lbs torque BMW, and it's pretty damn fast in a straight line. But to me, the challenge of being forced to drive smooth or else get left behind in the FR-S just makes it soooo much fun. I totally agree with you that the NA ones have no balls though. Even with all my mods, mine is still slow as hell in a straight line. My girlfriend's 2ZZ Corolla is way faster lol.
