I was an extra in this movie. That's me at 8:45 in the blue sweatshirt. They filmed me in a bunch of scenes throughout the day, but they only used about 2.5 seconds of my footage in the movie, lol. One of the extras was upset because he overheard the filmmakers say he looked too Anglo so they weren't going to use him. But he still had to stay the entire day to get paid his $40.

My dad lived in the apartment complex they shot the Tijuana scenes for a while. Looks like they recently turned it into a hotel but the Google Street View still kind of shows how it used to look. Look up "Eazy Living Sucursal Centro" in Tijuana, its on Avinida Ninos Heroes, near the Revolucion. That last scene in this video was shot there.

Nice. I was in high school during the filming of the movie. The scene where the crowd storm the US, running down a hill torch the border patrol, I saw that take live. During that scene, there is a panoramic view of the border patrol vehicle; behind that vehicle there is a small set of buildings, next to a row of threes, that was my high school in La Presa section of Tijuana (Cobach Plantel La Mesa). I was exiting a classroom, I just had finished a statistics test, when I heard the roar of the crowd running full speed torch us (we were supposed to be in the US side). I’ll never forget that. I still remember seeing up close Cheech Marin. I loved my Highschool campus, it was located on a remote site of the city, surrounded by nature with very beautiful views, especially during winter, when it was all green. The school did not have any fencing. Unfortunately, that changed within ten years from the filming of the movie. That hill is now a very poor neighborhood, a misery belt, and the campus is all fenced and in the middle of it.
