This was a successful interview on so many levels The gentleman has class. He showed that he developed his attitude not as a result of negativity but as a result of positive. He was never defensive and offensive. Yes hus situation is different but he grew to make decisions based on the reality of who he is. This could be contentious ( my interpretation) he never used the term "feeling" unlike persons who when asked to explain their gender identity or choice. He has done his research and he's able to articulate his responses clearly and unflustered. Dr Dora's questions were what all of us would have asked. She made it comfortable for him. It was indeed a lesson for me. I have heard of hermaphrodite but never heard of "intersex" His explanation made me realize and accept how it could be. I hope that his journey forward is filled with continued blessings.

@@Sydney-McKee thank you so very much for responding with clarification. Lovely connecting. May your journey forward be one filled with people and experiences who/that respect not tolerance and empathy not sympathy.

My total support and respect goes to this young man- guest. I hope UN and Africa raise awareness to this. He educates me and I send my gratitude 🙏 to him. Please, Host , involve in any organisation this man will create to educate the world. Thx

There are well documented studies showing that the UN funded the production and distribution of certain chemicals sprayed in areas of Africa intended to kill off mosquitoes and prevent malaria…and one of the side effects of the good intentioned endeavor is that they discovered that every where they sprayed…people started having intersex babies. We now know that this is due to the endocrine disrupting chemicals. Aside from chemical exposure…intersex conditions tend to be very rare.

Hmm 🧐.. what an interesting interview.. this is a spectrum.. intersex spectrum, bringing some clarity to myself. Even though I read the book: Middlesex . Thnx for your articulate explanation. Your cause should be supported immensely.
@mowthorn85702 ай бұрын
I very much appreciate this interview. Gender is a spectrum and so is sexuality. The society is the problem, because it is stuck in the ancient cultural and religious narrow view. The saddest thing is that, that binary view informs every aspect of our lives and such normal people as Mphaso are excluded from fully participation in the society. Gays Lesbians and all the other variations also need to be heard. This would benefit the society and also help our governments make better policies and educate us all. Thankyou so much, keep doing the good work.

I know that God is a perfect creator and there is no confusion jn who he should have created...What I know spiritually is that the devil can attack a child while in the womb and cause deformities in children. However, because we need to have a reason to give people why then we believe God makes such mistakes. I pray for you and many others struggling with their identities that you may all receive the healing and restorative power of God.

In Genesis 5:2 the term "THEM" is 3rd person, masculine, singular. This refers to both male and female in a single body, grammatically speaking of course. "Hermaphrodites", as we have been known until the mid-1990's, since then known simply by the term "intersex", we are BINARY, within the xx and xy but just "somewhere in the middle". So intersex is not a mistake but the original manner of mankind's creation.

I think the best is to establish campaign, crusade and awareness for government and for government to come to their aid of these special people especially from tender age to correct the imbalances medically and help them to carry out surgery to align with a particular gender, depending on which hormones are higher in each individual body.
