@@mx.anunnakiraymarquez6295 The idea that babies born intersex can be legally mutilated by surgical procedures is something I could never understand. It is just 100% logical that these children should be allowed to grow up and decide by themselves what gender identity they feel it fits them. I can't even fathom how could anyone think it would be ok to proceed with invasive medical interventions when no one - not the parents or even science - knows what the intersexed human being will be when he/she grows up. Such surgical interventions should not only be considered illegal, they should be called body mutilations and the penalty for its perpetrators must be a lengthy jail time. Same with clitoridectomy, practiced by some Islamists: it is clearly mutilation, it is a crime and we impose jail time for anyone doing it in the Western World. May intersex mutilations be treated the same.

It should be celebrated. God made these people this way. It’s vile to me that doctors are allowed to operate on these children without the child’s consent. It’s not for them to decide. The child should decide. We can learn a lot from intersexed people. We are fortunate to have them and for them to share their experience. I am glad to hear that intersex is now an option on the birth certificate, as it should be. Best wishes to all those born intersexed-may the future accept and celebrate and not hide or denigrate your uniqueness.

I'm happy to hear intersex is on birth certificates in some places. I don't think we should demonize (not saying anyone on this thread is guilty) doctors or parents who think otherwise. Parents believe they are doing what's in the best interest of the child and doctors are trying to help them. We need to address social "norms". It's interesting to think about what the law would look like if the parent doesn't have that option of making decisions for their children. Would the law stop parents from transitioning children with Gender Dysphoria? Are there born intersex children who are happy their parents did the surgery?
@mx.anunnakiraymarquez6295
@mx.anunnakiraymarquez6295 2 жыл бұрын
@@Mralbertorivera1 when it comes to something as personal as one's gender identity no one can decide that for another person. It is not so much that we need laws to stop parents from making choices for their child. It is that we need to create a world that understands that only the intersex baby knows who they should be. This means we have to wait for the child to decide. It is that simple.

I wonder about his hormonal distributions, like in what ratio are estrogen, testosterone & other hormones present. Also about periods - giving birth means you have a uterus. I never knew there were so many intersex people in the world. I am going to educate myself on this as much as I can! This is truly fascinating and unfortunately swept under the rug so much you'd think it was super rare. 1.9%! That's almost every 2 people out of 100.

and there are only so little intersex people because they've been systematically sterilized and removed from the gene pool through coercive assignment. There used to be a much much higher percentage of intersex humans as there are in the rest of the animal kingdom. There are also a lot more people who aren't visibly or "genetically" intersex, but that have various differently differentiated parts throughout the body to different degrees. it's life.

It is definitely time that we show love to all of Gods children. I was totally unaware of how common this really is. Why is this such a secret? It is not shameful, it is how someone is born. Two people out of one hundred is a lot of people. I totally support and find love for these people. Any church that would throw out one of Gods children over this, is not one of Gods churches. They didn’t call being intersex cultural dysphoria, they explained that intersex is someone born somewhere between male and female binary. They said cultural dysphoria referring to the people around them making them feel unwanted and unaccepted, because they didn’t feel they were born in the wrong body compared to that of trans people who do feel they were born with the wrong body.

This condition is why I don't believe in a God or anything in the Bible. It says in the Bible that we are created in God's image but that is clearly not true. Has anyone seen God?? No! So how can anyone believe in such nonsense?? This human being is not of any image of a God they are just a human being that should be loved, understood, not bullied or mistreated in ANY way. They deserve respect. Give it! Give it to this person or ANY LGBTQ+ as well. They can't help being themselves. It's biological. Giving empathy will reduce greatly the 40% attempted or successful suicides. Think about it. Understanding and realization saves lives!!
