Only because if you hear A Mind Short Circuiting it gives off the old BOO/A New Reign vibes with the tempo changes and such, same when they had the bonus track, A Glorious Day, on their re-release/remaster of A New Reign and it's just a matter of if you as a fan wanna take them as they are or leave them be. I thoroughly enjoy them though, even some of their more "metalcore" tracks

Seems like a slightly backhanded compliment to me. I usually just go with "I hate the cleans" and this time it's no different. I could temper that with "the production and instrumentation sound great though" but that's not going to win the hearts and minds of those who planned to flame me over hating a really common vocal style in modern metal.

Not gonna lie, thought this band might not be as good since they lost some members however I'm gonna have to retract that. So far it's been banger after banger and the next album might even be better than soul sphere(my fav out of all of them). There are new dynamics now to this band that's clear as ever in this track. Glad to see Lee is getting vocals in, electronic sounds are still present, vocals are perfect, bass and drums are tight. Overall I think we're looking at something big when this album comes out 🤘

Vocals take me back to 2009. But man, without the backing vocals it changed the way I think of born of Osiris. I think ill always hear them in my head in the voids of songs. Not sure how I feel about cleans, it was one of the reasons why I liked the band this long. One song doesn't define an album though, so we will see. Still heavy and cool outro, taking it back to the hardcore vibes

Born is Osiris is one of the only bands that it capable of the reinvention of its sound while somehow sounding exactly the same as every other BOO song. I am literally in awe at a band that can reinvent itself while sounding the same, it's quite an achievement.
