I´ve always wondered what the strap on the headstock is for? You see this on many guitars. Is it to minimize buzz sound from the strings or something?

Spiny Norman exactly what it's for. Mainly good for multi finger tapping and can mute out the open strings and other unwanted string noise

Chandler Fyfe i took a lil strip of foam and placed it behind my nut under the strings.after playin around a bit with the foams thickness i was able to achieve both the dampening and feedback muffle as well as play an open with its tone still in place!

Good Job! The intro to this solo is actually tapped in a three note per string sequence while skipping a string in between each sequence. So I guess there are three ways to play it :)

liam, when you do your triplets, do you always try to start each triplet with a downstroke? or do you use strict alternate picking so that some triplets start with an upstroke as well? Thanks
