I can appreciate the miracle of birth and the unconditional love between a mother and her babies. That said, these creatures are an invasive species in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Alabama where they wreak billions of dollars in havoc on the resources for native wildlife and crops of farms that are intended to feed hundreds of millions of people and their families across not just the USA but hungry and needy people all over the world. That's the invective that you are seeing, not "let's kill pigs because hooray for blood sport."

people who brought with them industrial agriculture are an invasive species in America if you think about it!

@@andysquiff That's not "thinking about it." That's doing some major mental gymnastics. Building a civilization is not the same thing as parasitically consuming resources.

@@samael1981 Im not trying to look smart, is what this is about, who is the smartest or most 'correct' in our opinions? I posted a video of a wild boar (sow ) suckling her babies and I got lots of aggressive responses which I personally find disturbing, i cant be arsed to argue with you, we hold slightly different opinions, so what, i have more important things occurring in my life right now, have a lovely day, I suggested reading that book because Jensen makes a point that all civilization is based on violence. oh and so which bit did i say that was dumb? that humans destroy the environment more than wild boar?

she is precious. i live in texas and everyone here hates them and wants them dead...not me! i have 20 acres and as long as they stay away from the house i am good to go. i dont want them to get too close they can get violent if spooked or if it is a momma. they have killed people. i think last year some old lady got killed, some people say eaten too? but not sure if that part was made up...i still think they are cute as hell, and that momma is so in love with her kids, how could you hurt any of them??? AND no, i do not eat pigs. i also dont eat any birds. i love pigs, and with birds i hate seeing those big 18 wheelers with so many chickens smashed in one cage, then the cages all piled on top of eachother. it is cruel. many break wings and legs in that drive to death. very inhumane so i do NOT add to supply and demand!
