This video truly does justice to David Tennant's portrayal of the Doctor, the man who carried a now sixty year old burning torch at some of its brightest moments. He truly was born for this role...

Love how his first full episode ends with dinner with the Tylers, and his final full episode ends with dinner with the Nobles.

I so love that he finally got the family he thought he was going to have with Amy, Rory, and River, but with the Noble clan, he'll get a proper "slow path" life.

and I really really loved how Donna did indeed do what she said to him, that maybe she'd be the one saving his life.

David's Doctor deserves this. Out of all the doctors from 2005 I feel like his death was the most tragic, while all the other doctor's had compaions or a companion, David's tenth doctor died alone and was dying slowly due to radiation, not only that but he died ashamed of what he became at the end of his time, so to see David come back as the fourteenth doctor and not only get at least one of his old companion's back but also get the privliage to live with her and her family is so awesome. Another thing is that this vision of the doctor much like the metacrisis gets a break from all the pain, running, and endless push that is the job of being the doctor. While to many the bi regeneration may seem like a cheep cop out or a push to keep character's alive like the moffet era, I feel like the bi regeneration solution solves a lot of things, One: David's doctor doesn't have the stress of being all alone nor does have the fear of being alone while dying, Two: it makes it so that Donna isn't just left alone again much like how she was during her first apperence in season 3 the episode: "Runaway Bride", Three: It wraps up everything for the tenth doctor's era that didn't get resolved, and Four: It was the ending that should have happened had the tenth doctor not leave Rose with metacrisis verison of himself, let Martha & Co go back to Torchwood or UNIT, and if he didn't need to erase all of Donna's memories just to save her mind
@vvgirl61739 ай бұрын
I think it's also a ending that the Doctor deserves but without bi generation, would never get. Because Doctor Who is a type of show that never ends and the Doctor can never stop until somebody decides to pull the plug. We are now 60 years into the show's run and there's no sign of stopping anytime soon. So i like the idea of letting the last 60 years Doctor take a rest while the new Doctor takes the reigns. Even if the new Doctor's 'i have everything sorted out' attitude bothers me a little (i just want a little angst because i didn't feel like we got a proper closure for the Doctor. He literally said that they do Rehab in the wrong order and he finished his)

Plus 10 lived only 5-7 years as opposed to to the other doctors
@bluesongplays91219 ай бұрын
That is true. It also makes his death even sadder considering how Ten explained regeneration as a sense of death to everything he is other then the memories, smarts, a trauma. It just makes you realize if Ten was real and had born instead of being a grown man he would have only been seven years old at the latest by the time he died@@alxzr

David Tennant has always been my favourite doctor. He puts so much emotion into his characters that there's been so many times that I've been brought to tears by him. I'm so happy that he returned for 3 episodes and I hope that he does so again in the future! :) But for now, I guess I'll just be rewatching his old episodes xD edit: this edit is so nice and now im gonna so cry

the 14th doctor is still alive in-universe, and there's been rumours of a new doctor who spinoff in the works, which could well be the 14th doctors life with the Nobles, but no confirmation or official news.

This is probably one of the best fandom music video edits I’ve ever seen, point blank. Just, wow. Seriously, this was brilliant! (Also, people have already mentioned this but that transition at 0:49? Dude!!!!! That was magic! Like professional grade magic! That was so cool, and I am so jealous, lol)

I love this! So beautifully encapsulates David’s Doctor(s)! Brilliant song choice! Love how this tribute has both moments of adventure but also makes time for those somber moments and still within this catchy tune which just elevates the end! A lot of great lyric matches too! And of course we all agree at just how clean of a transition 0:49 is.
