people complain about ten's emotional tantrum and hesitance to regenerate. but they fail to realize that each regeneration can live hundreds of years. ten lived six years. SIX. imagine telling a six year old they were gonna cease to exist, and force them to off themselves

This is the reason I haven't been completely satisfied with how 14 ended. Sure I'm glad he's found peace and happiness, but the weight of 10's struggles gave him so much depth and humanity This works for 11 and 12 as well of course, but this is so true for 10

I love these types of edits. They make me realise how great Russell’s writing and Tennant’s acting are. Just by saying a few words, showing a few emotions, you can see all the emotion that the character went through. It’s truly fantastic how you can see all of the pain and the anger, but still see the joy and the happiness of the character. This is just one of the things that makes Doctor Who great. Fantastic work!

Pretty sure the war doctor suffered the most, 800 years of war for him and he thought he killed all of his own people, scarred him so much that 9 didn’t let anyone close to him for almost 100 years

I agree. Because you need to know that the doctor of war was a warrior. This man...was ourely grief. That's why he got mad at 11 when the War doctor asked him about the children that died on galiffrey. Also, I can honestly say 1 was the pioneer 2 was the teacher 3 was elegant 4 was the hopeful 5 was the charming one 6 was the odd one out(Timothy Duncan's James bond) 7 was the guide 8 was the fighter War Doctor was the selfless 9 was the hero 10 was the tragic survivor 11 was the lonely mad man in a box(custard and fish-ashamed to say I tried that) 12 was the avenger/redeemer 13 was the lost 14 IS the reward(Because the tragedy of 10 was too much to bare) I wonder what 15 will be. 10 was the martyr 11 was

@@SyncCryo The Tennant era just had so much damn heart to it. It brought the character of the Doctor to unprecedented levels for New Who, and Christopher Eccleston had some stand-out episodes despite only being there for one season. It's such a hollow shell of its former self 😞

I really hope that they´ll bring this depth back with Ncuti Gatwa. It would be a shame to waste the talent he brings to the show. And maybe the fact that David Tennant comes back is a good sign for us

This was so good it made me cry If you want to make us suffer even more, I think that an edit on "Writings on the wall" about The Doctor (9&10) and Rose's love would work so well, especially with the notion of the bad wolf writing on the wall

On a lighter note, there's also a song by Robbie Williams, never touch that switch, (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJ7SZGCDnsR6gq8) that really could match a DW edit because of the lyrics, so much that I wondered if it wasn't written with the show in mind This one has a more groovy and sexy tune, it usually makes me think of 11 and River flirting in the tardis, but can work with every Doctor's crush ^^

Such a beautiful edit! Even though every (or nearly every) episode is trying to have some funny moments, some horror and lots of adventure, it's always somehow quite sad too. Someone is always to die or suffer and Doctor is the one to witness it all, hard to imagine with his level of empathy how hard can it be living through it over and over. Fun fact: 10th doctor only lived for 6 years, compared to his other regenerations that’s sooooooooo much less time, his 2nd least amount of time in a regeneration is 50ish years and that’s from the 3rd doctor (or 2nd it’s hard to tell with their timeline but it’s most likely 3rd) but ye u really undertaking why bro didn’t want to go 💀
