Hi there, dev here. I am sorry you did not like the game and there is a lot of valid feedback. We are working our way through it because PERISH is our loveletter to FPS co-op games. To us, PERISH is a story game and a game to play with friends. Remember we are just a team of two so we can't really compete with Destiny or anything like that, we're just an indie studio who got to work with a lovely publisher. I’ve seen plenty of teams of 2 work on games before and you haven’t done a terrible job at least with the performance but most of the mechanics don’t work how they should and it’s not about competing with Destiny or even trying to, it’s about making the best product you can. Hopefully you put the time into the game to improve on the parts that don’t work great, I appreciate you making the game and I hope that maybe after some updates and stuff the game can become better for people to enjoy because the concept is cool 👍

What I like about you bro is that you gave the devs their kudos, it really isn’t easy coding coming up with a concept and putting the time and effort and in some cases pocket money into development. But like you also said some Quality assurance would’ve gone a long way

You complained the game is shit because YOU decided to sit in one spot on the first level not playing it as intended. Did you even get past the first three levels? There's so much variety of enemies and world design if you just make the effort to progress. Considering this was made by literally TWO people, the comments you're making are hugely unfounded.

You just have to play the game as intended!! That means you dont try and find exploits then complain about the exploits for being there because you found them! Give it a try buddy! Although looking at your channel you just have indie dev games for some reason?? Not every company can release hitman 3 for their first every fucking title dude 🙄

this review is accurate. The spawning issue is super annoying. No sprint, just a wonky dash. Controls on PS5 are sluggish. Was super excited after seeing the reviews and the trailer. Rarely buy a dud but this was a total waste of $16.

I realized consumables work when you hold the button for a second instead of tapping the button. Weird bug and I can't imagine how it was not picked up on during the play tests by the devs but well..

Paersonally I like this game a lot xD love to play it with friends. Also a few things have been updated already and I think they will fix a lot more in the following updates/implement new stuff and so on... BUT I can really understand the fact that you dont like a game if ur trying to play a FSP game with a controller xD (Yes ok... besides COD you fanboys)

Bill, the update for division 2 has been delayed. Just to let you know something is going on big time and if I’m right I think they’re going to scrap it, but it’s speculation more than anything else. I know they’re having issues with servers. Time in coordination so they say but I don’t think so there’s more to it. Just to let you know. Thanks for the video. Appreciate it. I agree with you about this game. There are allot of 2 team devs out there that make better than this. I mean look at ska studios, they made salt and sanctuary, that game was huge. It was absolutely an amazing game loaded to the gills. If your gonna jump into the arena you got to do a little bit better than this. The game is beautiful and runs good, but the content is not there. Hopefully more will be added and things get fixed. Good luck to you.

I don't fully agree that people shouldn't buy it, but it absolutely should have gone with early access. Was NOT ready for full launch. Definitely wouldn't recommend for anything over $5 on this though. Roboquest still stands as king of the roguelite FPS genre (HIGHLY recommend, full release comes in a few months or so). Vastly more polished, too

Roboquest is well done but I'm really not a fan of rogue-likes. I think it's just lazy like "hey let's make a handful of maps only and let player do them over and over again". If Roboquest was a traditional progressive FPS, I'd completely love it. But not the way it is now, sadly :/

@@benflashman7320 it does have a story and good tilesets, at least. There's a definitive start and end to each run, plus higher difficulties. The gameplay and polish it has definitely does not scream lazy, for this one. You'll know exactly what's coming up based on the route you take, with the levels having a specific kind of design that doesn't change much, like Risk of Rain does (and subsequently Perish). Absolutely worth a shot if you haven't tried it, already For me, I prefer rogue likes to most story based games. I love a good story, but it's so easy to make a bad one that I just end up going for the games with lots of replay value

@@PhriekshoTV It's all fine but I don't seek a challenge in games. My health condition is terrible, got Tourette's and depression and more. My life IS a challenge and there's more in the world than playing games. I love gaming but I'd rather play games than can be finished without being a hardcore player who wants punishment. Most games I like are on the easier side, like "A Short Hike", "Haven Park", "Dysmantle" and so on. Those games don't want me to play the same stuff again and again. I don't even care much about story, I want good gameplay and some progression :)

I was playing on the middle difficulty so it wouldn’t have made any difference on the highest difficulty because the enemies just couldn’t hit me when I stood higher than them

@@Born2Game you should try getting further than the second area. it actually gets harder. more enemies. different enemies. like 6 bosses. end game. the guns seem op until you get ahead of the two first arenas
