I’ve gotten to meet Travis a few times in the past couple years (he and Ken Block built a Rallycross track at my local track here in Utah) and I’m always struck by how happy he is, how much time he’s willing to give to fans for pictures and autographs, and how friendly he is with everyone. Seriously, Travis is friends with everyone! He’s a joy to be around and a joy to watch no matter what he’s doing. Awesome job on this video

I know him pretty well. My best friends dad grew up and went to school with tj lavin and Carey hart, and Travis came in the picture when I was a kid. I remember when the did the first nitro circus show in Vegas, travis himself picked us up in a limo and we were on the ground watching it. Not to mention the vans fully loaded with gear and bikes that he let us use. He’s such a good guy it’s insane

Man I remember those days when the magazines and forums were all a buzz about what Pastrana was going to get up to. It was an awesome time in the action sports realm to see all this stuff coming about. I know we are about motorsports, but skateboarding, snowboarding, and BMX were bonkers too. To me Pastrana was in the right place to keeping this crazy feedback loop going. Great times indeed!

That was an EXCELLENT video!! It brought back so many memories of watching all of these events live. Like you said in the video, I remember the first time I witnessed the greatness of Travis in my first VHS freestyle motocross video, Crusty Demons of Dirt, and seeing this young kid that was not only keeping up with the older guys, but surpassing what they were capable of. I was like, wow, who is this kid, that dude is legit, need to keep an eye on him, his going to be somebody. And for all the times I watched him crash in a motocross, only to pop up at this new thing called freestyle moto...and destroy the competition....I WAS HOOKED! I loved it, and I loved watching Travis show up everyone. And what you said at the end is so very true. How many of us have lived 'the safe' life, put our dreams aside because it wasnt convenient. Travis has absolutely lived the dream for all of us.
