Really neat build, I never realised Abuelo hit artifacts! This has very much inspired me make him (with Boromir in the 99) so I can put to use one the Synthesizers I pulled... I can sell the other one to buy the rest of the deck 😂

Glad I could help inspire an Abuelo build, I hope it goes well! I was also debating on building Abuelo after this deck. I have a Yorion deck that may get some tweaks and swap into Abuelo.

There are some good artifact interactions with blue (and white, of course, but everyone always thinks of white when it comes to artifacts). What are your thoughts on a few of the tezzeret planeswalkers? Betrayer of Flesh seems like it might be especially helpful but there's also artifice master or even cruel machinist that are quite budget friendly

For sure! All the Tezzeret planeswalkers would work super well in this deck. I like that idea for an inclusion.

If you were building this without the requirement for Throne of Empires, would you keep it and the Crown and Scepter in the build?

Honestly, I don’t think so. If the deck included more actual tutors they might be pretty good but having to dig isn’t super effective. They’re good cards when you get all three together but pretty lackluster if you only have 1 or 2.
