Even then anyone who battled him never won against him. Save for Jiraya who caused Uchiha Itachi of the sharingan and Kisame a tailed beast without a tail to retreat. Orochimaru-sama a genius and a feared Legendary Sannin left Akatsuki out of fear of Itachi Uchiha. Itachi while ill was a formidable and feared shinobi. Sasuke who surpassed an edo tensei Itachi( basically a healthy Itachi Uchiha) the same Itachi on par with if not stronger than Great Shinobi War Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan Sasuke. I get Boruto and his generation surpass the previous generation, however Sasuke even without rinnegan still has his intellect, battle prowess and sharingan and should still be able to aid Boruto in battle. Orochimaru-sama a shinobi born before Itachi's generation in the Boruto Era is still a stronger shinobi and has gotten even stronger. The excuse of the previous generation being surpassed by the future generation does not always apply to everyone.

@@ryuzakisimms1019 boruto is still too young to surpass sasuke, plus sasuke had many things going for him, for example he has his brothers eyes, went through the trauma required to have a mangekyo sharingan, received a rinnegan from the sage of the six paths and absorbed the tailed beasts, there's no way boruto surpasses sasuke if we were to be logical, and just because he is naruto's son doesn't mean he is an incarnation of ashura, naruto didn't even die yet and boruto didn't go through the same things the previous generation did, boruto is just badly written, and they want to keep adding to the power scale so it remains interesting, throwing random otsuski's who didn't show for the entirety of shinobi's history with the exception of very very few times, in boruto the otsuskis seem to appear every other day, just stupid, naruto should've ended, boruto is a mistake, and if they wanted it to stay airing maybe scale back the power scale, make it like the first naruto (not shippuden), boruto doesn't have to have godly powers, and konoha deserves some peace.

There are actual filler episodes, but the anime canon arcs are not filler because they actually add to the main story. The manga left a lot out and was very choppy so the anime fleshed out new and existing characters (Mugino being a great example of that)

@@geebeepman naruto was going in and out of kurma mode getting to the battle field and when he master it he still had to leg kurma recharge his chakra and he had to use sage mode and when the sage of six paths gave him half of character he was spamming certain moves that takes a lot of chakra but then again in boruto every fight he won but besides against someone who is stronger then kayuga which was naruto hardest battle before him and it came when a sacrifice of him losing kurma which is reasonable so the new gen can match or get stronger then the last gen and you can’t defeat a villain without something happening so it makes sense sasuke on the other hand had the sharigan which is a automatic power up and when he did get the rinnegan he wasn’t used to it but was still running outta chakra when he fought kayuga and needed time to recharge and when he fought naruto he couldn’t use his rinnegan abilities now he can control he’s going to dimension to dimension walking running all types of shit that consume chakra so when he’s fighting he don’t lose besides with that one guy that’s stronger then kayuga which is also sasuke most difficult battle before him he got to use moves that takes up his chakra too so he’s in a disadvantage with him losing his rinnegan to boruto who is being controlled by momshiki who can hide his chakra it’s smart because now he might not be able to do certain stuff he won’t run out of chakra and he needs another arm or another eye

Yes now they’re both nerf ,but it’s a nerf where it makes sense. How can you get rid of naruto losing kurma? By having him sacrifice himself to save the whole world from a threat way stronger then anyone they faced leading up to that same with sasuke how can he lose his rinnegan by having momshiki who can erase his presence and sneak sasuke and take it out.

if you dont like boruto then you can read the manga cause that is amazing , the anime is amazing now but i won't deny it was really bad before filled with fillers, the reason for that is that they started the anime way too early because of how good naruto was and since they started this early they needed to stall time for the manga to go ahead so we got an bad anime filled with fillers until when it decides to follow the main story for like 1 episode before going back to fillers. but things are looking good now for the anime
