If omnipotence were ever to be reversed, it would be a really bad thing for Kawaki since everyone would know the truth and he will be treated way worse than before plus he might even receive a severe penalty for his actions. However, although Boruto cares about him, if he's willing to settle things with him like mere siblings and keep omnipotence as it is, then it would be a decent ending to the Boruto series.

The part that doesn;t make sense is the whole premis of needing to make Kawaki stronger.. Ishiki just needed a compatible vessle so he can stop being in a dying Jigen Body... The karma seal does its unloading on its own like it did with Boruto in a few months. There is no reason they needed to mistreat him after getting the Karma seal. He could of just been the golden child in a "Dojo" and just trained with them or do nothing untill the karma full manifested and Jigen Died taking over the childs body. The time does not match up Boruto didn't even know how to use the karma. After Kawaki rebirthed into Ishiki he could of just found a better vessel now with unlimited time. Marking a new vessle and then showing up to fight him daily, weekly, monthly to train him under the guise of frendship, making him like a new Jesus and them Bam Back up body if Ishiki is to ever lose a fight. None of this back story makes any sense there are better ways to do things for these smart evolved aliens. IM just a random dude with no imortal body and no thousands of years of experience in life and I can think up a better plan then abusing a boy who wants me to die before I can use him to get reborn. Hell no if im going to use someone to be my rebirth body im going to "not be a jerk to them"

Naruto can only use a small chakra pool that he borrowed from them in the War arc. We've seen him use Son Goku's lava release in Boruto. Just elemental abilities aren't enough though, especially when the main enemy can counter jutsu.

Also kawakis views make sense atleast if you look at it from his perspective, killing all ohtsuski seems reasonable for naruto's safety and we can see that he is hurt by the fact that its boruto who he has to kill to achieve it as we can see him thinking that it would have been better if the other wielder of karma was a nobody instead of boruto.
