This is like when Tsunade said that the wind shuriken was more a medical level jutsu than physical. Code is experiencing beginning symptoms; vertigo, nausea, disorientation, eventually, as the rotation intensifies, I imagine that the rotation will progress to show physical symptoms, twisting of bones, flesh, organs, etc, until the move literally rips code apart….I think that’s why Boruto kinda tried to talk him into just telling him but knew he wouldn’t. My man’s was NOT sugar coating it. The earth seems to move slow to us due to gravity but the planets rotation speed is actually insane.

I don't think we should rule out a few people to at least have made contact with Boruto while he's been away. Orochimaru for a start. Perhaps kashin koji made contact with Orochimaru and by extension this is where it started. Sauske and Boruto quite possibly needed a place to hide a somewhat secret location to train for the next 3 years. As for the Rasengan Usuhiko, I wonder if there's a physical sensory component to it, but also an edition of lightning nature to it? Boruto emits a constant rotation of chakra that taps into the electo magnetic pull of the planets core. Once tapped into it he makes a connection of that energy to his opponent and once the electro magnetic link is made it cannot be broken unless you know the technique.

Orochimaru being involved wouldn't hold up. Remember code was hunting boruto for 2 years even caught up to him. Orochimaru hideouts is notorious for being in many place and hard to find. I think mitsuki would know if code or boruto has been around as we know he visits orochimaru frequently. Besides Sasuke knows many hideouts as he was with orochimaru for a time and with obito for a short while. I think Uzuhiko is boruto just drawing on the power of the planet as momoshiki has this ability in Boruto the movie novel which has cut content from the movie

Finally someone acknowledges what I have been talking about since the very first chapter came out for Boruto Two Blue Vortex and shikamaru was revealed as the hokage and now see why it makes no sense. He’s sitting safely in his office while his son and the rest hidden leaf ninja are taking on codes modified 10 tails army. Even the 5th hokage when pain invaded was doing everything in her power to physically protect the village, using for healing jutsu and did so not from the safety of her office but outside on the roof. Every kage before him would run to the danger to protect the village even if that met they would lose their lives. He was naruto and kakashi aid two ninja that wouldn’t hesitate to risk their lives to save the village and fight along side the ninja in the village but not shikamaru oh no he’s just safely sitting away in his office giving out orders when in reality he can be doing that while physically engaging the enemy. He doesn’t even need to be the one to fight code but his ass should at least be trying to save other people from getting eaten and turned into a fucking tree. I’ve never been one to question kishimotto but I don’t understand why shikamaru had to be the one to take over as hokage and I understand he’s extremely intelligent and a brilliant strategist which other naruto pretty much all other hokage were just as smart but to be hokage means you are considered the strongest ninja in village and capable of leading from the front and take on the brunt of the danger the villages faces and yet i know for a fact there are way more ninja right now in the village that are way stronger then him.

Now based on what we saw in chapter 1 with interaction between future boruto and kawaki fighting on the hokage faces that are all destroyed along with entire village which makes perfect as to why that occurred. Cause the hokage of the village without question, did not possess the physical abilities, needed to protect, and minimize the severe amount of damage that we saw happen in the future to the village. All those brains and yet under his watch as hokage we see he was powerless and useless in stopping the village from being destroyed.

Truth be told I have been hating his character more and more since the start of Kara ark because he may be his advisor but he would second guess every single decision naruto would make that wasn’t suggested by him. While naruto was trying to heal all the broken mental and physical trauma kawaki had cause of ishiki shikamaru did everything in his power to make sure no matter how hard naruto tried to make him feel like the village was home shikamaru routinely would remind kawaki that he isn’t apart of the village and he will never be trusted. I believe kawaki did what he did because he understood the love naruto had for the village and although he loved naruto he did not share in that love for the village and became like a brother to boruto but he was still being watched like hawk and never truly given the same trust like everyone else and since he couldn’t trust anyone else but naruto and boruto for a time he decided to only focus on naruto safety and future and no else’s and I truly blame shikamaru for all of that. Danzo might be dead but shikamaru has become the modern version of him just not as evil or greedy but he’s incredibly suspicious of everything and like danzo questions to every single decision made by the hokage. If he had decided to fully be on board with naruto decision to adopt kawaki and help him forget his past and feel welcomed and loved in the village I truly believe this wouldn’t be happening.

I never thought I see the day where the lazy ninja would be equally lazy as hokage when defending the village. If his ass was actually outside defending the village he wouldn’t be needing to constantly be asking for updates about the situation because he would be able to see it with his own two fucking eyes. Strategically the smartest and weakest Hokage in the history of hidden leaf idc what anyone says and for someone who’s much smarter then sasuke he wasn’t able to figure out that he couldn’t trust his own memories and granted sasuke did have help cause of his daughter but you would think with how much he distrusted kawaki and feared ishiki so much he couldn’t figure out why all of the sudden naruto “son” didn’t have a shred of momoshiki chakra and why his entire body was comprised of ninja tech. I know it’s because of eida ability but even with sarada begging sasuke he instantly realized that all of his memories were not truly correct. Even if his mind was telling him to stop worrying about it, he still do his memories could not be trusted. Where is one of the greatest strategist in all of history couldn’t figure that out himself. Worst hokage ever and again I don’t care if opinions are extremely biased and subjective, I stand by what I said and i’m not doubting his intelligence and his strategic planning, but if none of the strategic planning includes him fighting alongside others, who are risking their lives, then what’s the point of being fucking smarter than everybody else if you can’t protect everybody else like all the other hokage before him and he had the nerve to tell sarada that her dream of being hokage could be jeopardized if she keeps saying things that will hurt her potential for getting promotions and could forever be ranked as genin. Its like the man just decided to forget the guy who came before him and regarded as the strongest ninja of his era became hokage as a genin and I’m glad that she reminded him that naruto never went up in rank but accomplished everything that he did to become hokage as genin. Once he said that to her i knew right there and then he was terrible choice for hokage.

Hmmmm.. the idea permanently attaching a jutsu to someone and using nature to power it seems cool but im not sure if theres any other jutsu in the story we can realy compare it with. It also of course made no visual impact so when it is animated it wont realy look very impressive. Clearly its not the power of the whole planet or anything. Code wasnt realy harmed it appears he was just disoriented, confused and left. The toad was a nice touch and Boruto probably did have 2 teachers during the timeskip.
