Bosch 200 External Fuel Pump Upgrade from the 044 - E85

Hey mate. I’m installing this pump into my car and I cannot get this to prime at all. Is it meant to?

Hmmm, might be something wrong as my pump came on straight away and I didn’t change any wiring, but hopefully you can get it sorted easily!

e85 goes bad after something like a month from memory.. do if the s13 isn't getting driven.. fuels gonna be bad?

I don’t know, it hasn’t happened to me, I’ve had 20lt of e85 in my Silvia since October last year and I’ve probably only put more 20lt’s in 2 times since then and probably only start the motor around once a month or so and it’s been fine with the e85 so far! Maybe it’s because it’s not in the sun ever because it’s in the shed or something, I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♂️

How is the sound compared to the 044? The 044 is loud as hell

Is this the new pump that replaced the 044? the FP 200/7?

I believe the Bosch 200 is an upgrade from the 044 and is better at handling E85 fuel! I’m not really sure what 200/7 is though?

@@ScubaMade Just what Bosch calls it. Also seen it called 464 -200. That looks like the new one for sure. There are really no reviews on KZbin regarding the sound. Have you tried running a bit more rubber?

Ohh ok, it’s been working perfectly for me, but I need to build a new engine now after finally going drifting again! I haven’t needed any more rubber or anything, it’s still sitting just as it is when I first set it up!

It’s abit quieter but still makes a fair bit of noise, it’s hard to tell because the whole car is noisy..
