I just used it to cut a few pieces of plywood boards kzbin.infoUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS works great. The blade that came with it isn't very good and I bought a much better bosch one which made much cleaner cuts. Blades were cheap, a few bucks.

Once ago, I tried to cut a 2x4 using a jigsaw. I found that I could not have an accurate cut, it was just ugly, I had to file a lot to correct, and used lots of glue, if I had this trouble cutting through 2", then I can imagine how worse this gonna be when cutting through 4". Not all is bad news, it seems like if you want very precise cuts when cutting through thick wood, then you have to make an arm for the jigsaw, this arm is supposed to always hold in right position, the final end of the blade. I am planning making one for my jigsaw, since this is the only way to make extremely accurate jigsaw cuts.

But then design will be heavier. I also tested several model.It is not easy to cut like they showed. Even Blade found not original . I think if you want to cut accurately you have to use crome or vanadium steel blade

*I've had some time🌗 **allabout.wiki/BDEJS600Cl** to get used to using the saw now and I think its a good one. It feels very solid and well made - great BLACK+DECKER quality. I like the settings it has for the eliptical blade movement and blowing dust out of the blade path. The quick blade change lever is easy to use but wont be accidentally bumped. I feel that this is a tool that will last me many years. I was considering the next model up to get the additional blade stabilization, but I think most of the blade flex happens below the foot of the saw anyway were there cant be any support. I think usage technique can make up for most blade flex and you also have to realize that this is a fact of life with a jigsaw and use it accordingly.*

depends what you want it for, on paper the 160 is the best. by that I mean most powerful but its not by much really. I would look at how much they cost and get the highest number I could afford.

Why on earth would you cut a laminate worktop like that? 4.30 Correctly the jigsaw should be upside down as this stops it chipping the laminate. But why would you have the worktop upside down at the same time?

What a piece of crap! I got this with high hopes and it was a big letdown. You can't use a straight edge guide because the plastic around the base isn't even straight and the cuts were never flush. The biggest disappoint was bosch customer service, cold as a dead corps! no reply what so ever. its been laying in my storage since 2012.
