I would not buy this jigsaw again cause it's not very sturdy. The part that holds the saw will wear down quickly during heavy duty. But i guess all jigsaw manufactures use this strategy of planned obsolescence.

Hi, thanks for your comment! I use mine occasionally and haven’t run into any of those issues. It’s helpful to know what might happen with extended use, though. As you mentioned, it could be a common issue across different brands.

Hi! I had a similar issue with my old machine, but I’m not experiencing it with my current one. I decided to invest in some original saw blades, and in my case that might have made a difference.

@@R-JayRockwell I think the problem is with the long blades when they bend from below. I have now cut more with shorter blades and it has been better now. I bought from Ryobi; Ryobi RJS1050-K, 680W. Seems like a good machine; I haven't tried it yet, but I've read reviews that it should be good. I also have a black and decker with a different blade, but it gives precise patterns and is very small and light
