We’ve just had a new kitchen fitted & have this model dishwasher installed, hopefully it’ll last as long as my previous MFI special which has never been a problem for the last 20 years..but then that didn’t have all this new gadgetry attached.. Great video much better than reading the instructions that we men don’t have time for 👍

Brilliant thank you so much for a really interesting video.. we have just bought one of these and are in the process of finding out which programmes are the best for us … I hadn’t understood how little energy the Economy programme uses and was aghast when I saw it took 4 hours !! But now I see that this programme will be useful in the present Energy crisis. Thanks again

Hi, I’m glad I found this video because we were concerned that the door springs back up! We haven’t put the door panel on yet though so we’ll give it a try. We are finding the door very difficult to open in the first place though. It takes a lot of effort to pull it open. We can’t see that it has a child lock or anything on it and the problem isn’t listed in any troubleshooting guides. Any ideas on why this may be and how we can rectify it? We’re waiting for an engineer but if it’s something simple we can do we can save them a job. Thanks!

My Bosch dishwasher of 12 years gave a ghastly gasp and gave up the ghost. Went to the ONLY retailer I trust in my country (South Africa) to buy another. One problem I had with the old one is that the bottom rack only allows heavy stuff (dinner plates etc) to be in the front. Thus when pulling the drawer out, the runners heavily drop into the join of the door and machine. I looked at all the manufacturers models. They all seem to be the same. Why cant the heavy stuff be loaded at the rear and the lighter side places and bowls at the front? I ended up getting another Bosch. To my despair, the lower basket is a fraction smaller than the old one which means if dinner plates are in the front, the cereal / soup bowls etc will not fit in the rear spaces unless at an angle. Not happy. But it will probably outlast my lifespan (I'm old) so just got to accept it.😁Love your episodes. Yes, I did subscribe. I learn a lot. The Samsung washing machine also packed up a day later. I'm having an expensive time.....

Really useful video. I must say that the instructions were fairly painful to read and the video makes life a lot easier - thank you. Slightly disappointed with the new machine. Our last Bosch was 16 years old and was only replaced because it started leaking water. The new one is much more plasticky and seems less sturdy than the old one. The old one had a time display too which was very useful. Progress eh?

Hi there , I got a semens dishwasher and there is a grey insulation piece at the top towards the back of the dishwasher, It is in your bosh one too. Should this be taken out before installation ?

If its the piece i am thinking about, then just leave in place as it helps with the noise reduction.

I've just bought one of these dishwashers. I've tried to follow the instructions for setting the water hardness levels as I have a water softener but can't get it to work. It's supposed to display 0,1,2 or 3 but all it does is just go through the programmes. Can you explain how to do this please.

Thanks for the video. I'm looking to buy this model but all the shops selling online show photos of it with the door on. I have an Ikea door I want to put on it, is that possible?

Yes you will be able to. But be aware that the door height on some IKEA doors are taller than standard. I had this issue on my old Neff dishwasher (same as bosch) and with the ikea door I needed a gadget from IKEA called a Behjalplig. It basically acts as a sliding hinge enabling a tall door with a bosch dishwasher. Have a look in my other videos as I show it in action. Good luck!!

Phew glad I found you, we have just bought this dishwasher and I was concerned it didn't seem to have an outer casing 🙂.....I was happy to see that's how it should be lol. Oh and we did wonder what the watering can head was for too lol.....Thank you I am now ready to use my new dishwasher (if we can get it fitted correctly as fitting instructions not great)

Not too sure because if you turn it on then you should be able to select a program and away it goes. There may be a fault with it

Oh no. Just his voice is perfect. There are lots of other options for rainfall, ocean sounds, etc. Very few with the simplicity of a perfect voice. Plus, his main purpose is educating about appliances in order to sell them. Gimmicky sounds would make no sense.
