The only reservation/petpeeve i have with the Bosch mixer is that I wish they had an attachment or redesigned the paddles to pass closer to the center post so the ingredients wouldn't bind-up in the middle of the bowl during mixing away from the paddles. The doughhook extender works amazing in solving that problem. But thats just for thr dough hook. I know there is the bowl scrapper attachment (separate purchase) to clean the center post, but its bulky plastic that clutters the ability to add ingredients aometimes while it is working. Come on Bosch, put your engineers to work on this already. Secondly, Bosch basic bowl is designed for very large batches. By now Bsoch should have designed and created a smaller bowl with separate attachments for smaller batches. Trying to mix batter for one pound cake or one batch of cookies with the Bosch is like bringing out a cement mixer to wash two pair of pants. Good review as always. HI Amy, I enjoy your videos. You and your husband make a great team. I think I watched about ten different videos of yours on mixers trying to decide which one I wanted. I first bought the Zacme but it didn't last two weeks before the engine slowing down. I upgraded to the Bosch white universal plus thinking it had sooo many good reviews , would be worth the money. I got a lemon. This Bosch didn't work on day one, sounded like a squealing pig with just eggs and sugar double batch and then then gears 1-2-3 didn't change. All the same speed. I tried two loaves bread and the engine sounded sluggish. I called customer service, they were fantastic and are sending me a replacement. However, I am hesitant because of soooo many plastic parts. I think I may end up with another lemon! I think this is your third Bosch... Do you ever use any mixer for a long time? Do you know which mixer has the best durability...and best for multiple batches of bread? Thank you, Julie
