I have the brazier with glass lid and love it. Mine is also white which is so clean looking and it looks great on the stovetop. The glass lid is lighter than the cast iron lids. I find that the glass steams up when cooking so the meal isn't really visible until cooking has stopped and it is brought to the table. Enjoy- happy holidays!

My favorite Staub is the 6qt wide (or sometimes shallow) Dutch oven. It has the same lid size as the 7qt but being a bit shorter makes it more manageable. The handles are nice and big too which helps with washing and getting in and out of the oven.

My favorite color from Staub is grenadine - I have their 5 quart tall cocotte in grenadine and it's like a ruby! It's fabulous. You can get it directly from them - as Amazon doesn't seem to have it but the company website does.

Does the white exterior on the dutch oven get dirty/stained easily?

Yes, if you use it on a gas stove. Over time it will yellow slightly around the sides. Not so much on an electric stove, but still it will stain over time.

Beautiful pieces! Do you like Staub or Le Creuset better? I purchased a 7qt staub and it's so heavy, i am going to the mall to feel out some LC and Staub pieces to see if any feel better. I just can't decide with brand i would like better.

I wonder how heavy the pots and pans are with the food in it. For me I have a saucier with handle and helper handle. Mine is too heavy when I have to drain it, so scooping from pan to another container is necessary.
