Thanks for taking time to make this video. I have a question for you, if you can please answer, just your thoughts. I have an engine 1.9SDI, mounted on a Skoda fabia, 2004. I want to use this engine on a mobile saw mill, unfortunately the injection pump it is electronic controled. After several days of fails I manage to start the engine and accelerate it up to about 1200RPM with the electronic pump, just by opening the pump and making some changes. Do you think it is possible to make it work to run at 1800 RPM?? when the saw mill it is cutting mode, it is possible somehow to control the acceleration and deacceleration? If I buy a Injection pump from, 1996 , same engine but with TDI, the pump is mechnical, can I install it on this engine? it will work?? I am not concerned about lossing few HP, but it needs to run shooth . There is only one video on the whole youtube about a guy who did it and it worked, but he never give feedback how it perform in the car, he wanted to install it in a Toyota and he abandoned the project. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHS6moOOppWFd6c. If you have it running at a certain RPM, maybe just gear differently on the sawmill side. If you have the rest of the Skoda, it’s not too difficult to wire one of these engines to use the electronic pump. I have a video on what you need. Thanks, I cant gear it up on the saw mill, 1200 RPM is not power, ones it feeds in the wood the engine will die, I need to have control over the acceleration, at least minium. Unfortunately I damaged the electronics inside the pump :(:(. for now I will let it as is, is sitting in my garage for 2 years already, found a Kubota 17KW, which actually match my needs. I guess in the future I will buy an injection pump from Skoda or VW SDI mecanical control, year 1993.... I think It should work. The pump cost 100-160 euro, I can give a try. Thanks, Ben
