Bosch Washing Machine Not Spinning Fixed

Just an update. Ordered the inverter motor online from Bosch. It cost $270AUD and arrived within a week. Followed your instructions. TOTALLY solved! We live in a remote region in Tasmania. Repair jobs notoriously blow out in cost and delays can be for months if we trucked it to Hobart. Thank goodness for your help!

So I got my circuit board repaired $200, the problem was the power relay and small capacitor beside it . Would be a diy fix for $15 if I had a way of testing it. All works fine now.

Hi, I have Bosch Series 8 (WAW24460EU/20). Problem is that it wont centrifuge in any normal wash programs. I checked for water input and output blockage, and washer is not blocked anywhere. When I enter test P03 program it centrifuges from low to very high end rpms! That suggests that motor controller is ok or not? There are no visual defect signs on motor controller (burns etc…). I do not get any error messages; did you get any error messages while solving problem in this video? At this moment Im thinking on replacing AC/DC bridge on motor controller. What do you think? Any direction point is helpful!

Hi - Wonder if you can help, My washing machine spins during the cleaning cycle but fails to turn during the spinning/ draining cycle. Water drains and there is no blockage. Does this sound like the same issue as mentioned here and replacing the motor should hopefully fix it? Thanks in advance

Not related to this,but I have a beko machine,took it apart to replace the drum bearings and now the motor won’t spin,was fine before,It fills,but the timer does not go down,and no spin at all,any ideas ? It went back together fine,no broken bits or stretched wires,I’m perplexed ?…cheers

On washing mode only detergent n water are comes out of the pipe...and water don't come to the clothes n drum is not moving ....but when I turn to rinse or spin option the machine start working

hi potentially. you need to remove the back cover and see if it has an invertor control motor on the right hand side. If not its a brushed motor and you'll have to change the brushes. Have you checked if the drum is turning by hand too?

@@askmrwashywashy The drum is turning by hand yes, I will open it then and check what motor I have. Edit : I checked and it is brushed, so I will replace the brushes and see. Thanks !

Hi Mr. Washy Washy. Our machine will spin, but not enough. Checked the pump etc and no blockage. It’s as if the spinning is set on minimum.

Thanks Mr Washy Washy. I was trying to wash a very thick bath at by itself. I just kept running and running it until I finally got an error code. Turns out it was a balance issue. All fixed now.

Hi problem is the only when I used short spinning program like ( 10 minutes spinning) it doesn’t work. But when I set in cotton wash 1h wash but it spinning. Is that mean is broken ? Thank you 🙏 really need a big help

I got Bosch WAW24460EU Series 8 when I push start on any program, it let's water in for 3second then stop, just starts clicking sound from below. But if I put water by myself it will only drain. Any case scenario drum don't even blink no matter what I do. Tried everything,door lock,hoses,drain pump,everything is fine, except it won't spin,just clicking

There are some videos here of people replacing lots of components on that board. My understanding is that they failed to fix it in the end.

Damned inverter motors. If it wont spin, i heard the most common reason is AC/DC bridge on its integrated circuit

Might be something wrong with your water supply. If you put it onto spin only what happens ?
