Many thanks for your very clear video. Maybe you can show ‘putting the brushes the right way’ a little bit clearly and in slow Motion. We were not completely sure that we put them in de right way. There was some noise in the beginning but that dissapeared.

Tip: I had real trouble getting the wire seal retainer in place. I wiped the wire with dish washing liquid to act as a lubricate. That made the job a lot easier.

Really good video. The bottom plastic panel comes straight out. Not up, not down, just a straight pull. For the seal, I found it easier to fit the inner seal first, then the outer seal just seemed to drop in place. I also found it easier to remove the three screws (top) that hold the softener box in place. Makes it easier to remove/refit the front control panel.

great fix! didn't even need the water step (which is best since im on the 18th floor and my maintenance crew refuses to answer my tickets) so this was a perfect stealth fix

I bet your washer is about the same age as mine. The spin cycle throws off that little piece of plastic; even on a balanced washer.

Thank you very much. My washing machine was a Hoover and it was tripping power. After disconnecting the heater like you showed, it stopped tripping power. Thank you very much;you just saved my pocket.

Have this exact same model, with the exact same issue. So I followed your video instructions (and thank you very much for these by the way; I would not have had any clue how to disassemble without coming a cropper!) and opened up the catchment to gain access to the heat exchanger. Only to have NO fluff or lint buildup whatsoever. In the absence of any lint, fluff or gunge, what else could be responsible for the lack of drying?

We did exactly what you said and bought the new sensor part and installed it. And the machine still comes up with the E3 error code. We then placed the old sensor part in another Bosch Maxx machine just to check it. It worked, so it’s not the sensor. What else could be causing the E3 error code?

I had this machine It died not long ago in march bearing seal failed and it had Leaked for a long time by the rust I found. Wasn’t put off as was probably my fault for not de scaling it enough I was told. Anyway got the new LG washer dryer and it’s great, But I couldn’t find one video on this issue it makes it look like the screen is gone but it’s just that black thing happened twice to me with that model fh4u2 range I fixed with sellotape and if I see this someone on fb selling their machine because they think its broken I tell them that it’s just this little black piece of thick film and 20 mins of there time. You will save 100s of LG machines going to landfill because of this little issue I solute you as like I said I couldn’t find 1 video 2 years ago for this, just board replacement videos. Well done man.

Couldn’t find a video on my neighbours logix washing machine think it’s a vestel machine under that brand. It kept overfilling near enough to the top of the door then e12 would come up and beep I done what you said blew down the pipe and I also blew into the pressure switch put it all back together and now it’s working fine again and stoping the water at more appropriate level. How it didn’t flood I do not know. Great video thought she needed a new pressure switch but it’s fine now something flew out of it when I pulled it off.

Thanks a LOT for this walkthrough! I've finally decided it's time to clean up mine (after nearly 8 years of daily usage and coming to a point where I had to put it through four or five cycles to dry clothes like 80%) and oh boy was it full of dust and lint. Much worse than in this video. Oops 😅Thanks again mate, my dryer now works great again. Note that you can also remove the panel below the two radiators which exposes the bottom and in my dryer it was full of black sludge. I cleaned that as well.

On early machines there was a filter screen prior to the condenser units, easy to clean. This is no longer in the new machines hence dry lint/dust covering everything, get a piece of foam people in front, should keep the rear clean

Hi, thanks for video, I have a problem with water leaking from inside the water liquid/softener dispenser, and its making a big puddle under the machine. Is this a different problem? Or is it the same situation with the cold water valve replacement that you have done here in this awesome video? Love to here back from you. Cheer's Corrillee Ann from Perth, Western Australia.

A lot of work. I unscrewed the pump at the back and rinsed the heat exchanger with a hose with hot water several times from the front and from the pump side. I extracted the water with an industrial vacuum cleaner. I rocked the dryer a few times to let the water wash away the dirt from the rear heat exchanger that was not directly visible. 1 hour and it works without disassembling the whole thing.

Im 62 female & I chaned the door seal. However, a couple of points: identify the model as my seal was different, it has a light. Beware the 2nd spring to unscrew. What a nuisance to get on to. And, the door spring, describe what way it was suppose to go on. Would save a lot of time swearing. But I did it!!
