Bose Car Stock Speakers Sound Test. #2

In this video I am testing Bose Car stock door speakers. Each speaker is 2 Ohm.

You can buy these speakers all day long at your local pick a part wrecking yard. They are usually in near mint condition due to the fact that the are burried in the doors of mid 1980-2000 cadillacs. Maybe even later models and many other makes, ie. nissan/infinity, mercedes, audi and other GM products. These are the 2 ohm units and each amp in the enclosure is eq'd for the location they are installed in the particular car. Front door, rear door, back panel, etc. The best thing about them is they use a cloth surround and work like new after 30 years as compared to the 901 type that have the foam surround and are junk after 10 years. Oh yeah and they are usually 5-10 dollars max.

Bluelithium I agree my dad owns 2001 Yukon Denali and the Bose system from that truck sounds way better than mine 2011 Escalade Bose system To my understanding the Yukon has four subs, four mids, two midrange and two tweeters

Those things sound really great considering they use that famous bose full range! Most of the speakers I've heard that use that driver sound awful lol

If I got a classic car I would put in 4 of these self contained Bose speaker units complete with a custom retro acoustone speaker cloth with aluminum strip that has the Bose logo insignia just like the vintage Bose speakers and a Bose dual 4.5 inch spare tire mounted subwoofer.

A 50 dollar pair of JBL 4 inchers would destroy these in every category. Bose is all advertising. They have absolutely nothing on Hertz, Focal, Rainbow, Morel, JL Audio, or CDT, but often times cost more. A 4 inch full range speaker will always be getting bitch slapped by physics. BOSE = Buy Only Something Else. Beyond Obviously Stupid Engineering.

Ive owned and heard both Bose and JBL! And JBL! Aren’t trash and sound much better. In fact I bought a $20 pair of Onn speakers from Walmart and even they were louder and higher sound quality than Bose. Bose is a joke if you ask me. However, I also own Cerwin Vegas and they are better than all of them.

HELP | anyone improved, modded their Ferrari F430 spider / coupe sound system ? i consulted w/a audio specialist shop he said maybe different head unit as the becker is weird ( keep it for future owners ) but otherwise just put in some better speakers ! ( mine has the silly big $ option BOSE "upgrade audio " extra speakers , amp , sub etc Bose® high power sound system (Modis Code: SNDB) Available for both the F430 and F430 Spider, Bose® and Ferrari have developed a brand-new, high-power sound system. This system incorporates a new technology called FortaTM. It also includes the AudioPilotTM system, which is found on the 612 Scaglietti and the 599GTB Fiorano. Bose® technicians developed special equalization tuning for both the F430 and the F430 Spider. This system is composed of 11 strategically placed loudspeakers and includes:   A bass enclosure with a special amplifier, including 1 active woofer & 2 small passive elements. It is located under the climate control panel, linked to the center tunnel 2 tweeters, embedded in the mirror triangles 2 woofers at the bottom of the door panels 4 twiddlersTM at the top of the rear wall One 8-way amplifier with digital signal processing, located on the rear bench" Can't believe that Ferrari could install such a poor set of equipment especially with the cost of the upgrade to the Bose set up.
