Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (2024) Review - Bose Gets it Right

Just a few things about my brand new earbuds from Bose. I did find the case to be a little on the cheap side, but I am hopeful it’ll hold up. I like the five band equalizer although I could use a little more volume if that’s possible somehow. I do have an issue that every time I’ve taken them with me to go exercise the left earbud Isn’t paired so I have to put them both back in the case. Take them back out in that seems to fix it in both earbuds work when I put them in. It’s my understanding. This has been a long-standing problem from Bose earbuds. I agree. The app is a bit messy with controls all over the place and the stories thing is a waste of space and time. Otherwise I’m completely satisfied with them and hope they last a long time. One more thing I would mention is that because I forget what touch is doing what you only got so many skips or back ups before it quits and tells you you’ve reached your skip limit. What the heck is up with that?

I'll try them tomorrow. But I've read you can turn them on and off manually without the case, isn't that helping with pairing, too?

That was literally one (of many) reasons why I ordered them, because I hate earbuds which only can get paired and turned on/off with the case...

So how do you turn them on and off without the case?

@@jgdevoe I can tell tomorrow when I'll unpack them ;) Or look into the manual... I know for a fact you can find it there because I looked it up online a few days ago. As far as I remember, you turn them off when you touch them once or twice (when they're still in your ears) and hold a few seconds. And when they're off, you just put them in your ears and I guess you just have to touch them 1 second or something. Write back if it's working bro :)

Great review & I appreciate the battery details. Have you encountered an issue with the light constantly flashing on the case? it pulses red for days.

If you are looking for noise cancellation then go to Bose

Bose have the best noise cancellation Sony on the other hand dose a good job too. I got both Sony wf xm5 BOSE QUITE II Ear tips if u like comfort Bose foam became tire too the ear but Sony music base is louder I might skip Sony wf xm6 for next may but idk I haven’t seen a lot review on the new Bose

How is the anc compared to Bose QC45? I own those headphones and was looking forward to get Bose earbuds as well

I have these earbuds plus the QC45 and also the ultras….all have been used at the gym which plays stupid loud music, imho the QC 2024 are the best because in order to take way the gym music with anc on 45/ultra the volume level is at 3/4 of max level volume …on these earbuds to take the same gym music out of the equation there siting in between quarter and half way up volume wise….i also find the clarity is better on these earbuds eg the anc less hiss as to say

Nahh the new QC GEN 2s have slightly better ANC. The ultra is definitely not better maybe the same ANC as the new QC.
