working with that speaker in retirement home as duo singer and working perfect for me.

I've been through every make and model of powered speakers. They were all good. But not really perfect. My Bose s1 pros, and my Bose compact are the only ones I just can't part with. They just rock! Not good for streaming music, but for live sound, these speakers can't be beat. I gather the new ones here are a bit better in some ways, but I'm happy with what I have. Thanks for the video!

Is there a wireless mic recommendation that work with transmitter? I am not big in sound field but curious how mics connect with the wireless when they sometimes come with transmitter things that you plus in to systems.

Can I add an external mixer using the third channel thereby giving myself additional channels for mics/instruments?

Are they not wireless receivers, rather than transmitters? And if so, surely they can't 'turn any mic into a radio mic'? Perhaps I'm wrong, in which case I look forward to standing corrected! Watching further, aren't those 1/4 inch jack wireless transmitters for £165 designed to plug into a guitar or similar? And if so, do you also have to buy the wireless receivers that plug into the S1? I'm actually feeling a bit confused and I'm an audio engineer!

They are actually both. The speaker has the wireless receivers built in. The transmitters (sold separately) fit in to those compartments. You can either get a 1/4" or XLR. So the XLR one for instance simply plugs straight in to whatever mic you have. Once the transmitters are placed back in the compartments they will charge and have a battery life of around 3 hours.

@@palewizardrecords Ah, now I understand, thanks! So the receivers are built in and the compartments are just to store / charge the transmitters - how cool!

I tried the Bose S1 and the Everse 8 next to each other. Bose S1 pro plus is way better. Took me 2 minutes to tune the Microphone. Everse 8 took me 10 minutes and still sounded crappy... They are both about equally loud even though Everse says its 400 watts..

100% agree the Bose sounds much better out of the box. The EV is much more powerful and bass is punchier. I still prefer the Bose live though. The dispersion is much better.

No change, except the control panel, could put a processor with more effects, like harmony, delay, hall, etc. I prefer to buy alto busker with multiprocessor, double puds, double battery life, for bosses you pay the brand, that's all

Who gona pay the 400 extra for the wireless. When the battery only last 4 hours .very disappointing bose .also no double xlr out for a multy effect board. Instead of a y cable

You are paying for the name. There are way better options out there for the price.
