I walked 492 feet through the city park, turning on the Everse 8 at maximum volume. Eventually, the city noise started to get in the way, and there is a busy highway nearby. But obviously, the Everse 8 is a very loud speaker system for its size. It seems louder than I've ever heard from larger devices.

Since making this video, Mackie released the 8" Showbox. Competing with the Everse8 at $1,000. EV also released the Everse 12, but at 31 lbs too heavy for me to be considered a portable speaker. Here I thought the Portable PA market was saturated??

Definite need for the Mackie ShowBox. Most of these only have 2 full channels (plus one jack channel) which, like you said in the video, kind of defeats the purpose of a portable PA. The Mackie ShowBox has 5/6 channels, with some other cool features. The Everse 12 will be a big hit with the DJ crowd, who want larger battery-powered speakers. Very helpful video -- thank you!

Great video! I have just purchased 2 of the Makie Thump Go speakers since they were on sale and both combined are cheaper than one EV. My budget couldn't afford 2 EVs at the moment but since I'm a one man band the majority of venues don't require too high volumes and the ones that do usually have their own good sound system(stage etc). Plus I already have my own mixer for reverb etc. I'm glad to hear that the Makie Thump Go speakers can still play clean when pushed and have a removable battery. I'm coming from playing an Alto Uber FX speaker with wheels. A weaker 100 watts that often distorts when pushed. Also the battery is nearly impossible to take out. Makie looks like a great long term investment that will last a very long time thanks to getting extra batteries!🔋

Great content here Bill! Very informative. I have had the Bose S1 Pro many years and recently sold mine for the EV Everse 8. I did buy the Mackie Showbox before the Everse from Sweetwater but quickly returned it because I wasn’t comfortable/confident with how the controls operated. Also, compared to my Bose the plastics felt cheaper to me. What sealed the return was the noise coming from the amp. I could hear crackling noise and loud hiss sound when not playing. I play in church and my gear has to be quiet when not playing. I saw your question to me when opening up my iPad today so I thought I would answer you here!

As a singer/guitar player I'm only familiar with the Bose S1 Pro. The problem I have with it is that the vocal signal is rather weak. I have to turn my vocal channel up really high compared to the 1/4" guitar input. I'm interested in the EV model but I don't understand how the weather proof cover is functional if you have to plug in cables to the speaker. The video overall is very useful so thanks.

@WWeiss-nv5vz9 ай бұрын
Many people have reported weak gain on mic channel on the S1Pro. Solution is using a small mixer- I use the Yamaha MG06x. But that defeats the whole idea of everything in one box and mixer needs A/C power. The new S1Pro+ seems to have solved the issue with better preamps.

Everse 8 EQ settings: At very loud levels (gigging outdoors, large bar karaoke, etc) the dsp limiting tech on the ev tends to cut a little bass while also at very loud levels the high end can get slightly harsh or piercing. At moderate levels (coffeehouse, smaller intimate performances) The speaker has a very Flat frequency that is pretty accurate so consider the venue when dialing in the eq. Here's what i recommend. 1. If using a stereo pair. set your primary speaker to mixer mode. Leave the other on basic mode so it doesn't potentially add more volume from the main mix send which may already be boosted on the primary speaker. If you do not have a second speaker then disregard. 2. If running one or two speakers, set both to live mode (has a real nice warm mid tone). Then on the main speaker , go into the mixer on the app. On the bottom you can choose graphical or parametric eq. Choose parametric. 3. If often playing moderate to louder levels. raise bottom 3 decibals.. however... for 160hz add a relatively tight q curve of 5.5ish and lower it to -2 to -3 decibals. This is actually a cool old eq engineers trick. Doing this accomplishes two things.. That boxy sound inherent in many small form factor abs speakers squarely sits around this range as well as general low end mud. Another benefit of this cut is it separates the bass from the mids and highs creating a more "hifi" sound without losing the mid warmth. Play with the q curve to dial in just how much you are willing to lose in the 160 range. I keep mine pretty tight so its really only notching out those specific frequencies instead of a wider curve. 4. Line one and two i use for guitar/vocals.. I set compressor to 1 for guitar, 2 for vocals on the channels. This makes its tasteful without sounding compressed. Reverbs are quite decent. My preference is small cathedral soft dialed back about -15 per channel. Now notice their are presets in the bottom right of the app for each channel. Here you can choose from a variety of modeled eq and settings for condensor or dynamic mics, acoustic guitars, bass, etc. It is very handy and choosing a mic preset here for your vocals really cuts out feedback and low end plosives. 5. Finally.. I leave the the rest of the eq mostly flat. In some situations ill boost some mids or highs 1 decibal for fine tuning. Depends on the room, situation.. loudness levels. One thing to note. the bluetooth signal from channel 3 seems to have the treble boosted already to the point where I have had to lower the treble gain on channel three specifically like -4 dB to sound natural and not overly hyped or even piercing.

And I agree, the Yorkvilles dont have a user replaceable battery which i agree is a bummer. I almost didnt buy them, took me a while to actually pull the trigger. It was the only battery powered sub out there offering the loudness I was looking for. So bit the bullet and bought them. Im glad I did. Once the battery loses its life, they can at least still run full with a power cord. Im cosidering getting the Everse 12's just because I dont like the protective rubber balls on the Sounboks, at least not when i have them pole mounted on top of the subs. Just dont like the look. I think the Everse has a better look than the soundboks. Just my opinion.

Thanks. Great comparison video. But want to say the Behringer battery is replaceable cuz I replaced mine. It's a standard little 5Ahr sealed lead battery you can buy anywhere, it's under that plate at the bottom with 4 screws. It only takes 5 minutes to switch it out. Also my biggest gripe about the Behringer is the overly aggressive anti clipping base cut, it's very audibly noticeable when it activates. Btw I also have the JBL and love it. I has great bass at lower volume but if you turn up bass heavy tracks you will light up the clip lights quickly. You can get a lot more clean spl simply by turning down the bass control. I also love that it has a lithium battery which is awesome because it (minus defects) should last 5-10 times longer than the SLA batteries. Or in my case, something like 20+ years the way I use it. Just don't store them with a full charge for long periods (60%-80% is ideal) and they stay charged a long time, whereas SLA batteries will go dead if you don't charge them regularly, once every six months at a minimum.

There is no one single PA that approaches full range sound. Fishman, QSC, JBL, RCF, EV, Turbosound, LD, and Mackie all have your typical PA live sound which has a very clean high end. Yamaha and Bose have the opposite sound. Rolled off highs with a smooth Hifi like midrange and a boosted low end. Pair Yamaha or Bose with any of the others and you get full range sound! Mackie has a similar sound than your Fishman 330 but not as good! Check out the new Bose S1Pro Plus which has the option for wireless receivers built in. Bose is famous for their room filling120 - 180 degree dispersion. Yamaha DBR is bare bones but considerably louder than S1Pro or 330x. Return the Alto! kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6Gzk3xpl7qle5o

Gonna chime here and take note. At very loud levels (gigging outdoors, large bar karaoke, etc) the dsp limiting tech on the ev tends to cut a little bass while also at very loud levels the high end can get slightly harsh or piercing. At moderate levels (coffeehouse, smaller intimate performances) The speaker has a very Flat frequency response that is pretty accurate so consider the venue when dialing in the eq. Here's what i recommend. Before getting into this it is important to note the everse has 3 different eq applications. 1 on the speaker page itself along with gains and 3 band EQ. The speaker page also includes various dsp position settings such as tripod, floor wedge, or kickback modes along with custom dsp settings for overall sound type such as live mode, dj mode, flat. The next EQ is on the mixer page where you can choose from a 7 band geq or parametric to really control frequency curves. Finally, each channel also includes a 3 band eq as well as additional custom match presets to assign to a channel which is quite nice. Channels also include effect sends and compression, phantom power control etc. The magic here is the fact you can tweak essentially all three eq's from the speaker page, the mixer page with a detailed parametric, and the channel/line pages with custom presets and eq of their own. Dialing these in cohesively can really produce studio grade sounding results. I added this paragraph to this already long post to stress that when asking for eq settings, there is more involved than just one to get the "perfect" mix. I add just a pinch of compression for instrument (10% post preset), slightly more (20%) for vocal inputs. This helps keep it tasteful without sounding overly "squashed". (It's important to note that the presets selections on each channel modify dynamics, eq, compression already tailored for the input type, so those adjustments should be relatively minor after the presets have been assigned on the editing page.) Reverbs are quite decent. My preference is concert hall soft dialed back about -15 per channel. Now notice their are presets in the bottom right of the app for each channel. Here you can choose from a variety of modeled eq and settings for condenser or dynamic mics, acoustic guitars, bass, etc. It is very handy and choosing a tailored mic preset here can really make vocals shine while cutting out feedback and low end plosives. 5. Finally.. I leave the the rest of the eq mostly flat. In some situations ill boost some mids or highs 1 decibal for fine tuning. Depends on the room, situation.. loudness levels. One thing to note. the input signal from channel 3 seems to have the treble boosted already to the point where i have had to lower it specifically like -3 decibals when using the 1/8" stereo input as the source, but the built in EV bluetooth sounds fine. This could be an issue with the input device and not the input itself. Further testing is required. Hope that helps mate. PM me if you have any questions.

Hi mate! Thank you for such a comprehensive review, it is extremely useful and appreciated by the community! I have a Bose S1 Pro that I use for small gigs (guitar + mic) and I'm very happy with its performance indoors. However, I also do the occasional busking outdoor and I realised it lacks volume. I tend to use the volume knobs at 75%/85% as I don't want to damage the unit by going full volume (maybe I should go full 100%). I've read the max SPL is 103 db for the Bose S1 Pro. And the Everse 8 is around 121 db. In terms of loudness appreciation, how much would a 18db difference be? I am unsure if I should go for the Everse 8 to get more volume output, or just go with a mains powered PA + a battery power generator. Thank you!
@WWeiss-nv5vz10 ай бұрын
Thanks for your positive feedback. Adding a second speaker gives you about a 3dB gain. Not huge but noticeable. To our brain, 6dB gain seems like double the power. 10dB gain is actually twice as loud using professional measuring equipment. So 18dB is huge! Even 4 S1Pros wouldn't equal it! My biggest issue with the S1Pro is when it does get anywhere near that 100+dB limit it sounds very harsh and the little 6.5" can't handle any kind of deep bass.! Other speakers about to mention stay clean at their max clipping point! If you need internal battery Everse 8 is excellent-my favorite. If you don't mind the 31lbs get the new Everse12 at 126dB. Too heavy for me. Or for $500 and the price of an external power source go with the 124dB QSC CP8. In my home the CP8 was 9dB louder than the Everse 8, almost 2X louder! CP8 runs easily off 150 watts! Downside: No reverb or Bluetooth. Many choices, all far louder/another league from the S1Pro! kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKrQlGukhrF_a9k

Which would be best for a dj playing house techno. ? Thanks
@WWeiss-nv5vz Жыл бұрын
None of them! The largest here is an 8 inch woofer which doesn't produce much bass. The best here, the Everse 8 goes down to 60Hz. PA subs go down to 40HZ. So you are missing many fundamental frequencies required to reproduce House Techno. Get a decent sub as cheap as $350 for the Behringer B1200 and the performance of the top will be a Night and Day difference! Have you seen this video? kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4e0YmlqmJd8fpY

Hi, good review, thank you for putting this video together. Very helpful for a performing musician! Question: you mentioned connecting a subwoofer to the Alto. Was the sub battery powered/portable? What brand? and do you recommend it for these highly portable speakers. Seems like the Alto can use a little low-end support based on specs alone. Thank you!
@WWeiss-nv5vz Жыл бұрын
Every one of these 6.5-10" speakers NEED a subwoofer. Of course if you are just doing vocals or acoustic guitar, then a sub is not necessary. The Alto has an excellent clean high end, but little bass! Add a subwoofer and you have a real full range solution, better than 12-15" top, just not as loud. With these size speakers I use either a Bose Sub1 or EV ELX12-SP. Both AC only. I use the 600 watt Ecoflow Pro to power them. www.amazon.com/EF-ECOFLOW-Portable-Multiple-Recharge/dp/B08T1KY8SG/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=2JCPHQHUGLSI4&keywords=ecoflow%2Briver%2B2%2Bpro&qid=1703133043&sprefix=ecoflow%2Caps%2C189&sr=8-2-spons&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.18630bbb-fcbb-42f8-9767-857e17e03685&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1 Check out this video on sub pairing: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3KtlnekiLppmsk

@@WWeiss-nv5vz I use the JBL, which has 38Hz low end, but small speakers. This has been loud enough for acoustic guitar+vocals+bluetooth backing/drum track. For larger venues I add a full-sized older Bose L1 compact, which is great by itself, but has no effects like reverb (essential, IMO). I will look at your subwoofer recommendations for the backing track. I always feel this is the weakest link and I need to hear it to stay on track. Thanks so much for your quick reply, and very thorough review video. Much appreciated!!
@WWeiss-nv5vz Жыл бұрын
Be careful of manufacture specs. 38HZ spec is at one meter at what volume? Only a full size sub like the Bose Sub2 will produce low Hz at gigging volume. A step up from your Compact would be the JBL MK2, which has good bass for your application but not at the level of a dedicated sub. MK2 has an internal battery, with good effects.kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6e8eJSnpZalb68 If you don't need internal battery, EV 30m is also great.

@@WWeiss-nv5vz My ""audience" is primarily the nursing home crowd, so have to keep volume low. Still, would like more low-end since I'm a male singer, and since I have the drum/bass backing track (ala Digitech Trio+). And of course portability is huge. I can carry the guitar on my back, and everything else in on one load. The MK2 is much heavier! but could be a one-tripper+a workout(!) ... I'd like to try out the Everse 8 sometime as I think it would have better "true" low end with the 8-inch speaker. ... I do like the 4-channel mixer on the JBL, as sometimes I have a guest singer and it's nice just to plug them in and go. As an aside, the USB power connections are huge on these things, as I can use a USB-to-9V adapter and run a guitar pedal or harmony pedal without AC, which is very nice!
@WWeiss-nv5vz Жыл бұрын
For your gig the external sub would be way overkill. Everse 8 does have more bass than any other portable PA but it takes some EQ ing to get it right. There is one other solution if you want to stay with the JBL. Small, Presonus Sub8. Light at 16 lbs but no handles. Can be carried in an 8" tote bag. It will add nice low end to the JBL in a small room. Not sure it would make a huge difference in an open space. I say try it and return it if it doesn't work. $200kzbin.info/www/bejne/mp6WcnVuZbSSqcU

Viewer comment: I have an Everse 8 and also Bose S1 Pro Plus. I 'had' the S1 Pro as well but the S1 Pro Plus has more features, a nice app and a nice selection of Tonematch settings. Back to the Everse 8, I compared the tonal quality of both Everse 8 and Bose S1 Pro Plus and the Bose was clearly a more pure, clear and open sound. That said, the Everse 8 has more power handling and does not run out of headroom as quickly as the Bose S1 Pro Plus. So overall, the Everse 8 is more capable. I like the app on the Everse 8 as well. All in all, it's a solid battery powered speaker that is light weight and out punches the Bose S1 Pro in my experience. But I do prefer the clarity and Projection of the Bose. They sound sweeter to me. Still, I can overload the Bose S1 Pro too easily and that can be a deal breaker.

Viewer comment: In response to some folks posting that the Bose S1 Pro wasn't loud enough, especially in the vocals department. Since loud and soft are relative terms I decided to measure actual decibel levels. The app I used is called Decibel X. It's a must app for all musicians. In this video, my vocal (Shure SM 58) volume is set at 3/4 with 1/4 reverb, which I changed to 1/2 after viewing this video and my instrument volume is at 1/2. What I discovered was this battery operated, 15 lb. speaker is not as loud as my my 39 lb. JBL EON615 which puts out 127 db max. SPL or my 41 lb. JBL EON One line array which puts out 118 db max. SPL. NO, this unit puts out only 103 db peak (did I mention it only weighs 15 lbs.) What does it all mean you ask? SPL stands for Sound Pressure Level and it's the primary objective unit of measure for output (NOT Watts). Continued exposure to SPL above 90 dB can cause permanent hearing damage. Remember that dB levels drop the further away from the source... the goal is to have a level of 85 dB max where the listener is, thus the reason these units have a rating of over that, which gives you some head room. I also discovered that this unit is ideal for small rooms with 40-50 people or busking. It's size and weight make this unit very, very convenient especially for solo or duo musicians/singers.

With these amps we have vocals, guitar, ukulele and bass running through. It does the job but I really dislike the sound. I also use a 12" mackie thump as a monitor for full set up gigs, which involve drumkit, guitar, bass etc. I'm looking for amps like these to replace my monitor, and a busking amp. I'm sure most will be better for busking than my current set up, however do you think any would be loud enough to act as a monitor for a lead singer while there's a drummer behind him? You might want to come to terms and admit that you have a battery powered speaker purchasing addiction! LOL. I have had a total of 4 different battery powered speakers over the years. I bought the original American Audio ELS GO 8 BT back in 2015. I sold that a couple years ago. It was a poor sounding speaker, but was light weight, and could get loud, and got the job done! I also had a Pyle 10" speaker that had a good bass to it, but it did not get that loud and I only used it at 2 events so I sold it for almost what I purchased it for off of eBay. I have had the Bose S1 Pros since a week after they came out and love them. Now in addition to them I have some S1 Pro knock offs called Stage Right D1 speakers from mono price. I have a pair of them, and they are a STEAL for only $129 each! They have a nice sound, and are rated at 60 watts RMS. They can get about 80% as loud as the Bose S1 Pros can get, and have just a hint less bass than the S1 Pros have. Having 4 battery powered speakers is good for me for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and also corporate events where I need a number of completely wireless speakers on other sides of a ball room or in other rooms. Also looking at the Mackie Thump Go and Alto Busker, but leaning towards the Thump Go since it has an 8" woofer.

I just sold my JBL EON Compact. I bought it because we use an Ear Trumpet condenser mic which requires phantom power, and only the JBL has it. But the unit has a number of deficiencies. For instance, the on unit controls pretty much suck. And so does the app. The graphic EQ is really not easy to use on the phone app, and mixing is clunky on it. The biggest problem is that the unit is just not loud enough. At 120 watts, you really can't cover even a small backyard. So I'll either move to an EV 8 or a a QSC CP8 which is 1000 watts but not battery powered.

EV8 is a big step up especially the App! If you don't need battery and features, CP8 is considerably louder than the EV.

All of my Asian friends prefer the new Bose S1pro+ over EV... They couldn't believe how the Bose seems to be closer (to the EV) in volume than it should. I explained that the EV is technically louder at 121db SPL... but that's all. It's not a brilliant and dazzling sound like the /109db SPL, Bose. I bring it up bc it's the "Elephant in the room" or is it not " in the room" ?🤔🤔 Either way. I'm interested in your series on that Alto busker... It looks like Alto put out a pretty decent effort with it. I was thinking about picking up a couple. Just to add to my repertoire ...🤓

You prefer everse 8 or Bose s1 pro?😊
@IAmKAZMO Жыл бұрын
@victorastovilca9087 I prefer BOSE bc I trust their 60 years of experience... What I don't like is people attacking attempting and discredit Bose and its consumer base. Technically... I'm not impressed with BIG and LOUD as in the EV 8 It had it had better be louder... it's HUGE! Nothing impressive about the internals or hardware. Unlike Bose with it's articulated 3 speaker Array to maximize soundstage Sparkling treble and warm powerful deep bass! 17.5 hz is lower than alot of subwoofers to name a few features... EV users can't even pair them without using a cable.? But since they've started to charge more money than Bose. The attacks on how expensive Bose is have coincidentally started to subside. 🤪 😆

All of my sound engineer buddies prefer the EV over the Bose S1 and the pro with its expensive built in wireless connectivity which can be had for a third of the price for their "transmitters". Bose= Great high end dispersion, terrible mid range.. dsp'd fake bass to fool your ears. EV = great full range with warm mids without coloring the sound. Full studio grade mixer built in without needing a "tone match" to actually sound decent. Full parametric EQ to dial in your exact sound characteristics. As a live performer, the EV has been a game changer. I thought it too was overpriced out of the gate, however, after using a pair for a better part of 2023 I can tell you they are worth it. It is true that for the purpose of simplicity the Bose sound pretty good out of the box where the EV needs some tweaking... but thats just it.. the fact that its entirely tweakable with compressors, line and main eq's, reverbs, delays built in makes it a marvel they packed so much into such a small package. Once you spend some time with them, you can really dial in what sounds like a full pa similar to EV's live larger PA lineup. I am not bashing Bose in anyway. what they do, they do well and i would love to see Bose proprietary dispersion tech combined with EV's power and tweakable feature set.. and better preamps. But for now.. Bose= good sound that fills a quiet room with little tweaking. EV has the dynacord mixer.. great preamps.. studio effects and a better full range sound imho.

@tomorrowtech Maybe your engineering buddies can show EV how to make a speaker that pairs with another WITHOUT a cord for almost $1,000 🤔 ... Baby steps, I guess.

@@IAmKAZMO The bluetooth does that fine without a cord mate. Its the mixer channels that need a connecting cable for stereo.. and yes i wish it didn't. However, you couln't do this with bose either unless its a feature of the plus model. With the everse stereo rig i am able to perform nightly completely wireless except for that one connecting cable. The preamps and feature set on the Everse FAR outshine the Bose as well as raw output. I do love the dispersion of the bose and of course that is what sets them apart. In fact I just recommended the S1 to my father for it's simplicity of use. But I will say this bluntly. I hosted Karaoke with dual S1s and upgraded to 2 Everse this year. THERE IS NO COMPARISON when fine tuning live performances for the best result. At the end of the day for me at least. The bose sounds like a good one trick pony. a bit set and forget and most things sound very sweet with that bose signature. .. not bad at all.. generally good all around. The Everse sounds like a studio dialed in if you invest the time to learn it's studio-like feature set.

Thanks for a great comparison review! ‘Much appreciated. Between the Bose S1 and EV8, which would you say would have better vocals for singing? I’m looking for better mid and bass for a warmer tone. I play guitar and use some tracks (drums, bass, keyboards. 🎉I currently use a Bose L1 system that’s about 10 yrs old but still sounds awesome, except I’m looking for a lighter and faster setup. I’m a new subs.

It really depends. The S1 Pro sounds a little more like a home speaker. It sounds pretty good but a little bass heavy and some frequencies are missing. Some songs I played through it sounded great and better than the Everse, others didn’t and the Everse took it. To me the Everse sounds like a PA speaker. It’s more transparent and you get exactly what you put in where the Bose has some eq. My testing I liked both for dry vocals. Where the Everse pulls away is the mixer. Much more gain available on the Everse. Many more effects available though they’re more difficult to get to in the menu. The app control is also a big win. You can also set the eq curve for what style you’re using the speaker. Initially I thought the Everse wasn’t anything to write home about. Now I’m selling my S1 Pros.

Glad you liked it. You are familiar with the Bose "House Sound". Smoooth mids, non fatiguing, Hi fi sounding. Everse 8 is the opposite. Crystal clear at volume in your face, sounds like you are on live stage in front of amps. Comes down to personal preference.

Just an FYI on the Behringer.....The battery is easily replaced by unscrewing the back panel. A new battery cost about $12. My original battery lasted over four years (no clue how many hours that was in use). That being said, and while I really do like my Behringer, I got mine when it was around $100 in 2019 and not a lot of competition in the small, portable, battery-powered speaker market. At today's prices any of the other speakers in your review represent much better value even at a higher price. The Behringer does what it does just fine, but it's a - what? - seven to ten year old design which is ancient by today's standards.

I buy the JBL EON($500) the sound was good but if I increase the sound the light start clipping and wasn't to loud I go to the store and changed for the Mackie Thump Go 8 and the sound is loud and very good also the price $360 and battery was much better, I also buy the Everse 8 and really is amazing is the very loud of all and excellent sound! The Thump Go and the Everse 8 are the best, one for the price, battery duration and loud and the other because is better in everything! Also I have to add Mackie make the best Bags for speakers excellent in quality and good price!

I'm married to the JBL system 😂 Eon One mk2, two PRX ones and now eon one compact. The volume knob on the eon compact with the green LED are STUPID and the press 3 second hold to turn on and off is ridiculous. No kill switch if you’re feeding back for some reason. Lucky they have 7 years but doubt that covers blown speaker 😂😂 Updated app is better but still lacking so much

Also none of the JBLs will charge an ipad (5v) but it will keep an iPad at high charge if full. If your iPad is dead you’ll be lucky if it keeps it alive

Have a nice time 👋 I shot a 7-minute video last night kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6STaIZ8gNB9qpYsi=pkCiacf83fxzUPcO Portable power station AllPowers S200, working with Roland Cube Street Ex, JBL Eon One Compact, Everse 8 amplifiers. Test No. 1 with normal volume for a room of 25 square meters. Everse 8 consumes the most electricity. Roland usually has a value of 0 at this volume. It was not possible to increase the volume due to family circumstances. It is planned to shoot another video with a higher volume, starting with the Roland Cube. It is necessary to find out from what level the electricity consumption from the power plant will begin. And compare it to speakers with a higher volume. How much energy they consume and how many hours the power plant will last. I bought it specifically as a backup power source for charging from 220 volts at my street performances. 👍

Good question! I have been on a quest to find the best battery PA to play tracks outdoors. I soon found out outdoor play needs decent volume. As any addiction it was hard to stop. I think I'm good now because anything better than these are heavier and my limit is about 27 lbs.
