This is a great comparison. I have both and use the partybox for personal use but if I do a gig or have a party or get-together I definitely use the Bose S1pro. The Bose is more design for professional PA use and have features that the JBL dosen't.

​@RivieraByBuick It doesn't sound worse . It actually more pronounced and clear. The partybox only has more bass. I put a bose sub1 with the s1pro and the partybox doesn't stand a chance. The s1pro and sub1 is a lot louder and way more bass sounding way better. The partybox is good for about 20 people the Bose S1pro an😮d sub1 is good for 75 -100 people. Both sound great the partybox is intended for personal use the Bose S1pro is good for that but you have to add a sub for the extra bass.

It isn't true, the partybox has more bass and better sound, bose sound is too high, but the partybox has got equal bass mid treble.

Try using a good recording of classical and some Steely Dan to properly compare fidelity. This type of music is very compressed, uses autotuning and too many effects to really judge the speakers.

Jbl you get good bass but the clarity is not the same as the bose... with the bose you get more details more clarity

Bose sounds very nice, balanced, good vocal coverage. I think the 110 sounds just a little congested by comparison.

Pasa que te falta entender mucho, el bose tiene un sonido mucho mas balanciado a volumenes normales. Y el bose s1 no es solamente una bocina bluetooth si no tambien es un workstation y PA speaker. Si tu solamente quieres una bocina para escuchar musica pues la jbl es para ti, pero si ocupas algo mejor para la calidad de sonido y lo que ofrece en términos de audio en vivo el bose es mil veces mejor que la jbl

I have both. The Bose S1 pro excells in live sound, as in karaoke or any voice applications in general. It is extremely loud( it can be ear piercing). It's not necessarily made for recorded music. That's where the JBL partybox comes in. It has a great punchy rumble. It plays streaming music perfectly. It also gets loud. ( I have the 320 so the 110/120 would be just not as loud). But the combination of the 2 for karaoke or live sound is absolutely top notch. That's just my 2 cents. Thanks for the video.

I’ve just ordered x2 of the Bose for £880.Does seem to be abit clearer than the Jbl.Hopefully I will enjoy the sound and try not to think too much of your comments on the jbl saving££😂

Bose S1 is MUCH clearer in the high end and perfect for a real PA system with a subwoofer. If you choose the PartyBox, clearly you just want an all-in-one speaker for a party.

@@izzyreed_ correct! And vocals through the partybox speaker just can't come close to the s1 pro. I just use the partybox at parties for boom boom pow needed for dancing. But when it comes to live vocals such as karaoke etc., the Bose is untouchable.

This is a total blowout. The pb110 murdered the bose and would probably have higher spl than 2 of the bose side by side. Not all PA speakers are legit.

The Bose was very impressive outside, the sound travelled far and sounded good. I've even seen someone performing in Trafalgar Square using an S1 Pro since and it sounded great
