BOSE SoundTouch 20 Speaker Blowout

Smashing open and playing around with the speaker drivers in this Bose radio.
Back in 2013 this Bose SoundTouch 20 was priced at $399 CAD, I found this one at a yard sale for $50.. But I confused it for a newer one! This is some sort of internet radio / Alexa smart home thing

Hey Garret, I know I’m late on this, but I wanted to save it for this video: congratulations on reaching 100,000 subscribers. I’ve been actively watching your videos since the age of 9, when you destroyed that LCD monitor using screws and a hammer. As far as my favorite video goes, I usually seem to come back for that one video - even if I change video moods all the time, but in any case, I enjoy the variety of tech you’ve destroyed whether it’d be IBM Thinkpads, phones, microwaves and speakers. I also remember you’ve produced and uploaded a horror film back called: The Legend of Mr McKracken, for which Papank Productions (a user you’ve collaborated with) followed that up with 3 or 4 other sequels you’ve starred in - I can’t seem to track those down anymore. I used to like watching those, mostly as a way to apply for my passion in filmmaking - I just graduated with my Bachelor’s in Film Production. I did have a channel in the year prior (2008), where I’ve made films and GoAnimate cartoons, but lost that channel to time: mostly on grounds of copyright infringement. This new channel I’ve had since I got terminated has proven more successful, based on sticking to my roots of watching these tech destruction influencers amongst others - TheOriginalHDChannel, dOvetastic, JogWheel (is it a good idea to microwave this?), TheSmashDoctor, Randumbprod, Shawn K, JeepersMedia, etc. It’d be a great privilege to one day meet you and get a hold of some dentures for you to sign, since I know you’ve lost all your teeth to a vitamin deficiency - but who needs a full set when you've got a heart full of fans smiling and laughing, paving the way with a fearless spirit that never quits! I never tried them yet! Took the covers off and was like whhhaaat Though they are really cheap made things.. have piezo tweeters in the little dome, wire poking out the back and just feel like a crap kids toy for build quality

Yeah, those Bose redline speakers are meant to be used with the AcoustiMass bass module, which explains the lack of magnet structure in those drivers

I put an empty coffee can without the lid behind the port of my Bose sound bar. It's this dinky little thing with 3" drivers that I have hooked up as my desktop speaker. But it sounds pretty good and gets loud and has amazing bass for the size of the woofs!!!
