Laundry basket cribs in pink and blue. That is just so cute! Unlike human babies these agile little guys can climb out and get into trouble. 24/7 Mischief! The carers are so warm and loving - angels on earth - Thank you!!! I will look into donating and adopting. Such good work for a magnificent species.

Look at baby Cinta and baby Meryl! 🥰 Cinta looks exactly the same but tiny. It makes me sad seeing Meryl so fresh in her trauma. Mia and Ursula, you are both so wonderful. I don’t know the names of the other baby-sitters in this video, but all of you are amazing. Your love and respect for these orangutans is apparent in every interaction.

I've saw other documentaries on baby chimps in a sanctuary and they slept in each their own laundry baskets in the nursery too! They had 15- 20 in baskets with blankets. ❤❤❤ Love to visit a sanctuary that had primates in nurseries... probably wouldn't wanna leave!

it's so interesting how many phonetic similarities there are between the Australian first languages and southeast Asian languages, despite the very, very long periods of time where the water gap between the islands and the Australian mainland was too long to cross even with boats/canoes/kayaks. in particular the rolled "r" sound, the "d/t" combined soft consonant sound, and the frequent "ng" sounds; they are so similar! it's so sad how many Aboriginal languages are being lost

I don't think aboriginal Australian and Austronesian people has any traceable racial and linguistic connection. There are significant melanesian blood in some Indonesian but not in western Indonesia.

Really appreciate the space in which the orangutans rest , sleep. It is a more humane alternative to cages. Undesirably orangutans need safe shelter and having such spaces with multiple platforms, resting units, is a wonderful idea. Respect for the entire team.
