▬ A NOTE ON USING LED LIGHTS AS HALOGEN BULB REPLACEMENTS ▬
Aim your headlights AT LEAST once a year and ALWAYS after replacing the bulbs.
If the cutoff is bad or you can’t aim them accurately or the light output scatters, it is NOT safe to use. Try a different style of LED or one with a lower output that will be more compatible with your light housing. See my other videos for more reviews.
When I use the word “headlights”, I am referring to legal off-road use or fog light use only as replacing factory halogen bulbs with LEDs for headlights in the US is not currently legal nor a DOT approved practice. This video is only for informational purposes for using LED lights legally. Check your local laws and regulations.

Nice! And yes, review other Boslla lights! Also in your yearly awards include a AIO (fan and fanless) category. Also it would be helpful that you mention how the fans sound.

It's not even about brightness anymore. It's more about throw distance and beam pattern and heat management.

Can we get some more attention focused on h1 bulb types! It’s so hard to find a h1 bulb that fits inside my housing that will let me close the back dust cover😢 Everyone makes the fans and heat sinks too long on the rear for the h1 bulbs and I’ve only found a couple that I can manage to fit but the lifespan is very short. I can’t get more than 8 months to a year on a set of the Fahren led h1 bulbs which due have a cooling fan are the shortest of all bulbs I’ve tested for my application but they still don’t do well against the heat! I’ve managed to use to kc5 bulbs with little modification to the bulb and they are super bright at first but they heat soak so fast that they become weak. I’m going to try some kc7 and 8s soon hoping those could provide better results but I’d like to see if you guys have some h1 bulbs that can do better

Love the reviews. Why is the light output so much higher from reflectors? I assumed projectors would be brighter.
@CarLightReviews
@CarLightReviews Жыл бұрын
Typically, there is light lost in the projector because only the light that hits the projector lens is what gets pushed forward. Where a reflector captures more of the light from the source, but is also less focused.

They should make omnidirectional LEDs to shine in every direction like halogen ones. Would fix the beam pattern problem.

Agreed, but the technology isn't there yet. There's companies that tell lies about their "4-sided LED upgrades for $9.99 a pair that are super bright and don't have any glare" but all that does it put the buyer in danger after wasting their money. They don't work because the father away from a single point of light created by a halogen filament, the less accurate, less effective, and less safe the light output is. Give it time...LED headlight upgrades are getting better as time goes on. Again, it is not there yet.
