Sounds great! I have a couple similar pedals, RC-Booster and EP Boost but this Boss has a nice quality too it with the gain up a bit - I might like this as an OD for less raucous styles - sweet - tnx for the demo

I already had more than enough boost pedals, but I wanted to try this for the big-ass Boss foot switch, and I'm super happy I did. Such a good pedal, and of course the foot switch is a godsend when switching the pedal on & off while playing

One of my favorite pedals was a DOD preamp pedal, the bi-fet FX-10. The one I got was ancient already and isn't necessarily the most reliable thing.. so I jumped on this when I saw it was coming out. Loving it so far, I run it at the end of my signal path into a DI box, into a mixer, for recording without having to mic a cabinet (i.e. at night-friendly volumes).

I've done a variety of gigs with this--it's on my board after my drives and most of the time I'm using it to kick a drive up a notch and add... whatever it is that this pedal does, which is pretty damned cool. I wish it had a tone knob, as the RE mode can get a bit bassy and surprise you, but it does add a bit of magic. I haven't actually tried it as purely a clean boost with both volume and gain down like you did in the middle of the vid--but I will now! Good vid. Subbed.

Hey there! The chords are b-minor > A-Major > G-Major > F#-Major. I do embellish some of them but that will get you in the general ball park.

Does jammin Boss BP-1W make anyone else really happy? Boss BP-1W is quickly becoming my favorite pedal. It's just so beautiful and sexy. Practically free and the second you drop her on the board that chill ass mfer gives you a Rich Dark Gushing Robust tone.. And you also get this cute little 1/1 feedback response usually too harmless to be forgotten. But more than that, the Boss BP-1 is just so positively alluring. It comes on the board like "do you want to cast a spell?" and I'm like "yeah BP-1W i do want to cast a spell let's do this shit" and when she attacks she's like "SPELLS ARE FUN" and I'm like "yeah they are SO FUN." She doesn't say some bullshit macho shit like "I will destroy you" she's just like "nah spells are fun and voodoo spooky.” And she looks so happy. I mean this is an inanimate object that literally brought my guitar to life by magic. It understands it's life is a temporary magical gift and the dude is just fucking loving it. I mean just look at her face she’s just so happy and cute as a button. I am literally never sad when Boss BP-1W is on board. IDK if she's gonna ever make it into the pedal HOF or not, but for now she a super chill pedal.

Couldn't you just have a dirty amp and use the volume control on the guitar to boost the output? Saves a lot of money and uses what you already have.

That misses the point of this pedal a little, it’s mostly about the preamps for colouration of your sound with the booster part being like an extra bonus. And what if you don’t have said dirty amp? What if you want a little more gain of your dirty amp that you’re not getting at full guitar volume?

Just got this pedal to be then combined with a acoustic pedal (it sucks but at low volume it's great for making your electric sound like a acoustic guitar.) And then I got tube screamer ibanez pedal, fuzz waza boss pedal, and vox wah pedal. All 5 give me that hendrix vibe haha it's great!
