This would have been an impressive value a few years ago but when you consider that both Joying and Dasaita have largely gotten their act together with their Android based head units which offer far more features for the same or less money, it's not really not. I took the plunge last night and ordered a vehicle specific 8" Joying head unit, total cost out the door was under $350. To get everything I wanted from a major manufacturer would have cost over $700 and I just couldn't justify it. Hopefully I didn't make the wrong choice.

I have had my custom Joying unit now for about 2 years. The only complaint I have, is that Joying provides no update to the base Android OS, which can be a security issue, if connected to the internet. ⚠️

@@Pallidus_Rider And that really isn't much different from any Android device. Within 3 years almost all of them no longer get updates. It's not like I am going to be doing anything security dependent like web banking on my car stereo.

1) Can anyone confirm if this unit lets you pair more than 1 bluetooth phone at once (most major manufacturer devices allow 2)? Major PITA if you can't have your partner use his/her phone in your call without unpairing your phone every time 2) 2V output seems really low compared to what other ones do (4-5V), but can anyone confirm what a standard manufacturer head unit usually ouputs? For example, if I replace my Toyota Corolla 2015 OEM Entune 2.0 unit with this one, will the volume not go as loud?

I just use my w/e phone is paired to play music etc, the other phone doesn't need to be paired. But I don't know the answer to your question.

I have had this unit for a year and a half now in my son's 2009 Honda Civic no problems . All of a sudden unit won't power on at all. No blown fuses in fuse blocks. I noticed this has a fuse in back of radio could this be the culprit? Installer said it has a reset button but I can't find one and they are 1000 miles away. always something...

It seems like this does wireless carplay through Bluetooth instead of wifi which will require more compressed audio. Often wireless carplay is initialized through Bluetooth but then does the bulk of the data transfer through wifi. Can anybody confirm this has no wifi card?

Might be sold on this if the reviews hold up. Iv been searching for a GOOD capacitive wireless android auto double din for months now without paying $600+ for half ass performance. I'd be sold if it had physical buttons but I might just compromise.

Features of Android look good but in my experience the sound is not up to par with any dedicated stereo. That’s why there are two types of groups those that like features and don’t mind having not such a great sound, the other group is all about sound and best sounding components. There is a reason why certain things cost more and some cost less.

I’m a new sub and I ran into a problem with my Boss audio 611uab stereo. Im setting up a subwoofer and while running my rca cable from my amp to the back of my Boss stereo I couldn’t find a subwoofer output it just shows 2 white output and 2 red that say Front and Rear

Has anyone had a problem with echo during phone calls? I don’t have the unit they speak of. I have the 9 inch floating screen. It doesn’t connect wirelessly it connects to a USB. Everything works fine except when I go to make a phone call the other party. Here’s an echo of your voice, if I unplug the USB immediately it connects to Bluetooth and everything’s fine it either has something to do with the cord for the software or if anybody has any idea feel free to let me know. I’m wondering if I buy a module and connect to it wirelessly I wonder if the echo. Does anybody know anything about this?

You only need to connect via bluetooth for wireless AA or wireless AC. This is detailed in your owner's manual.
