How i could see it: When Chaos 0 appears, Classic Sonic runs in and try’s to take on Chaos 0, but Chaos 0 catches him and throws him to the wall. And then a fight where you play as Tails happens, and Chaos disappears once he’s defeated Modern Sonic Fight: Before attacking Infinite, Chaos 0 emerges from a glitchy state. Then Infinite says “Have fun.” While you and Rookie attack Chaos. Ending: Knuckles, after cleaning the mess that Infinite made, decides to go back to the Master Emerald, and then.. Chaos comes back to greet Knuckles and they become friends.

That would never happen but it would be awesome. Think about it, there seven bosses, two of them we have never even fought before. The rest all have their boss fights spread across different sections of sonic adventure. And most of them would need to be entirely redesigned as sonic adventure is a bad game

And what's more, Sonic Battle even has Chaos as an optional opponent to fight, and you never fight Chaos 0 as Tails solo in that game's story mode. "chaos in a form weaker than the one he faced him in should not intimidate." Chaos, as in, one of the antagonists that Tails literally JUST saw beat the shit out of Sonic 6 months prior? The same Chaos that Tails, despite what you claim, never once fought by himself? Get real.

@@TacoManX9 you can interpret the fight as them working together, or as them taking turns. But you can NOT claim that one happened over the other because there's no evidence of that. And again, the point is that Tails already went through a character arc by forces and something like chaos shouldn't scare him given even LAST GAME he was unflinching towards the Zeti who are more than comparable to chaos 0 in power if not far far more. Yes, with frontiers we can recontextualize things, yes, there is an explanation you can give in forces for him acting wildly out of character. But he was NOT scared of chaos in SA1 at any point, all his fear was directed at facing EGGMAN alone. And if he overcame the fear he DID have. Having a fear he DIDN'T have before was sloppy writing by people who seemed to assume tails never did anything but sit on the sidelines and build things. It's insulting to his character no matter how much you try to smooth it over, and claiming he couldn't solo chaos 0 just because sonic and knuckles helped him with a form 4 stages up from that is just as direspectful. Feel free to skip the first two paragraphs if that's too long for you.
