Great demo as always! I would like to point out that the tap tempo is not a "latching device." It also doesn't use "any tap tempo switch." It requires a normally open momentary, NON latching, switch.

I honestly thought my DD-5 was malfunctioning with the loop (7th mode?) turning off the LED... Thank you! Also had a tap-tempo switch and didn't know it came into play only from the 8th mode on! Sir, this video has impart much needed knowledge-I was about to sell my DD-5.

The DD7 has more delay types, but i would guess they sound close

Odd question, but how easy is it to tap in a beat on that tap tempo with your hand? I want to use one for DJ fx and will want to use my hands rather than feet to operate it.

Do You need a stereo cable to conect tap tempo pedal? Or any plug is good for it

Yep all dd-5's do that, i have several of them and they all do that.

Cool, but I still have a doubt. Is it possible to control the "repeat rate" with the fs-5u tap tempo even if the DD5 pedal is NOT engaged? Very nice demo though! Congrats all the way from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Hi man Congrats for the video!!! I realized that when you select the delay mode and turn the "delay time knob" up and down the pedal makes a weird noise, like a scratch sound (1:35 to 1:40). Is that normal on the DD5? Thanks a lot

I have a question! is it possible to control two different delays but use the fs-5u to control them both? Im trying to connect my dd-20 with a memory boy deluxe. would that be possible?

Thanks for replying! I've got a second-hand DD5 and I noticed the same noise when I tweaked that knob. Although it's a bit frustrating I feel more relieved to know that the pedal is not broken.Thanks for helping me. Do you know if the DD-3 and DD-7 have the same "problem"? Cheers!

Shure sm58 i EQ the voice, add some highs and cut some lows on the the sm58 mic

There is no Tempo input on the DD-6 as it has Input A and B.

Richard C if you’re playing in a band or to any song it’s useful. Instead of messing with the knobs, you can just tap out the tempo with your foot and the delay can be perfectly in time with the song
