Boss ES-5 Effects Switching System / True Bypass Looper with MIDI Control

I can run more than 5 pedals, yeah? I picked one up for $450, free Taurus Compressor came with it. No power supply but that was easily fixed. Thing is, I use two amps (one 30W and a 10W vintage Champ-style). I was thinking of running the output into a stereo pedal (like a delay or chorus) and then running that into the amps. That way I keep the unique tones of the amplifiers, and there's only one pedal - less "tapdancing". Idk..If I can't get it to happen, may have to trade up to the ES-8. The MIDI feature is exciting!

WTF BOSS!! Where is the send and return for the amp loops! Es8 i can't afford es5 is more like a ES4 because most people will have to sacrifice one of the five loops to use in their amp effects loop

Yeah, you have to give up one of those loops. However, can't you set it up with more than one pedal per loop? I've got a reverb/overdrive and a fuzz/delay running on one loop each atm, and it's o.k. I'd like to know if there's a way to maximise this sucker!

Using more than one pedal per loop for me defeats the porpose of using a looper. I want pure signal and easy of use. I don't want to tap dance again or degrade my signal with some old pedals... My boss bf2 and ce5 are very noisy...i was planning the biss ns2 and Ts9 in front of amp togheter in one loop and dd7, rv5, bf2, ce5 in the effects loop. The Bf2 and ce5 will have to share same loop.... Ahhhh :) and i will lose the ability to move the noise gate from the front of the amp to the send and return becUse it shares the loop with the overdrive and i dont want overdrive in the effects loop. I need the es8... No money for that

Bruno Nunes I'd prefer the ES-8 but I got the 5 for a bargain with a free Taurus Tux. It's working out o.k..
