What gain level do you have the gig caster set to for the Shure sm7b. I'm currently troubleshooting mine and I'm getting allot of feedback at +20 gain and above. Are you using a preamp or those the gigcater provide enough gain without it?

I bought Gigcaster 5 Your tutorials do not help me especially about the pads the user manual does not show you how to use the pedal so disappointing
