GREAT video my friend, very helpful! I recently got the GT1 back in April 2022, & LOVE it!!! I use it exclusivelly at all my gigs & recordings( I go direct to board ) & it works excellent, never lets me down!!! I also use a DigiTech FS3X footswitch with it & it works great!!! Can't say enough good about this pedal, it also runs on 4 AA batteries, so if you're in a gigging situation where power in limited, you can still use this pedal!!! Thanks for sharing, you ROCK!!! Be safe, Rock On & God Bless!!!

Hi Dave! Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it. I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed the video! Great choice of going with the GT-1, it's a really great piece of gear! I use the GT-1 direct as well, and I really enjoy the preamp models and speaker types - with minimal tweaking you can get some excellent tones. The possibilities are endless. Thanks for watching! The very same to you, Dave. Best regards.

Very useful video. It's a great product but not very well explained in their manuals so I've appreciated your tutorials.

Great job on the explanation of all subjects you covered here ! I would really appreciate a patch setup for a real good heavy rock distortion and a dive bomb for a guitar with no whammy , high and low options, Thank you

Hi Tony. Thanks for your comment and kind words - I greatly appreciate it! Thanks for the request. Do you have a specific band/guitarist in mind? Something I can listen to, to narrow things down. Thanks again. Best regards.

@@GuitarNTabs I've watched practically all your video's on the GT-1 . And you do a very good job explaining and showing how to setup and use most all the most common and used effects in combination to one another ! There's a lot to understand and unfortunately i only have access to the Internet through my phone at this time ! So no Tone Works for me to use and experience for the time being . I've owned my GT-1 for about 3 months now and have yet to use it for any live gigs that I've played . Yes , a band and or musician would be Ozzy Osbourne with Randy Rhodes > Song title > Over The Mountain i also have noticed that i need to have control of a noise gate or suppressor , i play through a Marshall stack directly pluged into the Amp . Find it hard to take both hands off my guitar without having a bunch of unwanted noise lingering ! I do greatly appreciate your understanding and quick response very much . I do apologize for the lack of understanding and capabilities on my behalf . My 1st real Effevts Processor was A Boss ME-6 back in the early to mid 90's , That changed everything for me then and i hope this GT-1 will do the same now . Thank you for your knowledge and time

@@tonyboyer7923 - Hi again! Thanks for your comment, and the kind words, I greatly appreciate it! Indeed, there's a lot to take in, but take your time, and you'll get there, I'm sure. Thanks for the input, I will check it out, and add it to the request list! Well, noise can come from a lot of different sources, so let me give you some things to check, and see if the noise can be reduced or even eliminated. 1. If you're using your own amplifier - in this case your Marshall stack - and you plug the GT-1 straight in to the front Input on the Marshall, then you should turn off the GT-1's PREAMP-button. You also need to set the GT-1's Output Select to "Stack Amp". 2. Then you need to set up your Marshall stack to sound the way you want it to. Whether that's clean, adding overdrive or distortion from the GT-1. Slightly on the edge of break-up, with overdrive or distortion from the GT-1. Or both clean and overdriven from your Marshall, with boost, od or distortion from the GT-1 - along with all its other effects, of course. No need to apologize, I'm here to help, and I'm happy to! I'm sure the GT-1 will do the exact same thing, because it's a great piece of gear, trust me! I hope this helps. Best regards.

Hi there, Antonio. Nice to hear from you - I hope you're well! Thank you, I'm pleased to hear that! I tried to cover all aspects, but might have forgotten a few, so I'll probably make a Part 4, as a little bonus, so I'll see if I can make that happen. Let me know if you need anything. @@GuitarNTabs Thanks! By the way I replicated the same settings in my GT-001 but your crunch time sounds really good. In the GT-001 it doesn't sound crunch. The GT-1 sounds really good!

Hi. I’ve been experimenting in this. Thank you so so much for the knowledge. I’ve discovered so many people who have this pedal have no idea what it’s really capable of. I have one question though. Are you limited to one function for every assign or you can use one assign for different settings on two different parameters at the same time?
@GuitarNTabs11 ай бұрын
Hi! Thanks for watching, I greatly appreciate it! Exactly, and that's why I decided to make this Assign series. You have a total of 6 Assigns (A1 through A6), and one parameter or effect to assign to it, then, if you need another effect or parameter, then you'll have to use the next assign, for example A2. I hope this makes sense. Cheers.
@algrundau9441 Жыл бұрын
Hello, it's me again. I just saw you ASSIGN 2 extra functions or parameter changes to CONTROL 3. That looks very interesting and opens up all kinds of possibilities for SOLO boosts... My question is, Do you need to make these changes with Tone Studio and a Computer? OR can all of this be accomplished with just the GT--1.
@GuitarNTabs Жыл бұрын
Hi again, Great question! All changes can be made on the GT-1 itself, but also on PC. It's all up to you, choosing what's the easiest approach. I hope this helps. Best regards.

@@GuitarNTabs Thanks again for the quick answer. That helps a lot. I don't always have my computer with me, so being able to make those kind of changes with the unit itself is important to me. Thanks again. I will likely buy the GT-1 now. Cheers

@@GuitarNTabs One more question...(at least for today...haha)...Does the GT--1 ever run into a D.S.P limit???....I see at least 7 or 8 "categories" in he FX chain, plus a Mastering EQ at the end of every patch if you want to use it...That seems like quite a lot. So if I use a Bogner Amp model, and a 4--12 cabinet, with a Tube Screamer...AND Terra Echo, Reverb, Chorus, Wah....That will all fit in the D.S.P? ....thanks again. You are like my Gt--1 coach....I just hope I can make the team....haha.
@GuitarNTabs Жыл бұрын
There's not really a DSP limit, so to say, but a certain amount of effect blocks you can use. If you wanted you could have all effect blocks on at the same time, without any problems. Just remember that the FX1 and FX2 only can be set to one effect type at a time, unless you set up an Assign to switch between effect types, but if you only want the chorus from FX2 and the Compressor from FX1, then no worries. But using the Assigns is easy too, it's just a matter of planning them out. You should have no issues doing it like that. I'm happy to help, just let me know. There's no such thing as too many questions. Best regards.
@algrundau9441 Жыл бұрын
@@GuitarNTabs Cool, that was the answer I was hoping for. I ran into D.S.P limits on Line 6 and Zoom products, and I found it annoying. I get it, some stuff takes more processing power but why include it if it won't run every time?.. The fact that the GT--1 has a somewhat fixed signal chain is fine with me as well. I realise you can move stuff around, but the factory layout seems pretty logical. Also I have no real desire to stack 5 overdrives or 5 Chorus pedals any time soon...haha... I pick it up tomorrow. I can't wait to dig into this thing. Should be fun. Thanks again...Cheers, Salut , Prosst and Skaal.

Hi Steve. I'm glad you found the video helpful. Once you get the hang of setting it all up and laying it out, it's pretty straight forward, but the Assigns will make your patches so much better! Have a great day. Best regards.
