@@georgeirisarri4371 - I would uninstall the programs, and download the updates and programs again. Your MAC should be able to find the drivers, when the GT-1 is connected via USB. Also, make sure to have Adobe Air installed. Try that, and see what happens.

Hi I'm just a little unclear at the beginning of the video where it is showing the connecting of the pedal to the GT_1 unit itself. Is it showing that a TSR can be used in leu of the two mono inputs, or are both required? I'm asking because it appears to be saying (beneath the "B" input to connect a Y cable with two mono jacks and in addition to the two mono jacks, a TSR jack, which would be three jacks. I don't see that many inputs on the pedal. I could be misunderstanding something. I'm just asking for clarification. Thank you so much for any help.

Hi there. The FS-7 can be connected with a TRS-jack, but also a Y-Cable, it all depends on which your prefer. The FS-7 has two inputs, A and B. If you use a Y-Cable then you connect through both inputs. If you use the B input, also labeled A&B, then you use a TRS-Jack. I hope this helps. Cheers.

I have the GT-1B and the programming is identical, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the expression pedal to control an FX parameter. I want to control the Effect level on FX2 ( chorus) EXP1 func set to Pedal FX, Assign 1 set to EXP1, mode is moment, target category is FX2 Chorus, Target is e.level, min 0 , max 100. When I rock the Exp Pedal, nothing changes. Thoughts?

Love your tutorials! Quick question-I have three separate, different patches that I would like to seamlessly switch to. Is this possible ( the up-down switch enables me to switch between 2 patches-I have to hit it twice to get to my third sound?) Is it possible to assign a separate patch to the external BOSS foot switch? Thank you again 4 your great channel!

Hi there, Jon. Thanks for your comment and question, I greatly appreciate it. The only way you can toggle between your patches is using the UP and DOWN footswitches, that's it. No assigns can be set to this, and to be honest, I don't see the real usage of this, because, you simple save your patches in order, to easily recall them. For example, save your first patch on U1, then the second on U2 and the third on U3, then using the UP and DOWN footswitches you scroll through them. I hope this makes sense. Best regards.

Thank you for this great tutorial! How can I save the FS-status LEDs to a user-preset? If I switch between user presets, the FS-7 LEDs don't follow the default setting of the newly selected preset but keep the status used in the previous preset.

Thank you I will try to explain better :-) I created several user presets where the FS7 is involved. Say I use one preset and for example switch on the LEDs of the FS7. When I now turn to a next song in the gig, I choose another user preset. When I select the next preset, the LEDs of the FS7 stay lit, they do not necessarily correspond to sound settings in the user preset. It would be nice if the user preset is able to control the LEDs according to the required settings.

@@GuitarNTabs I have it set to Latch, and Polarity 1, and connected via a stereo jack-jack cable to the GT-1. Maybe it is not possible to control the LEDs on the FS-7 from the GT-1.

hi mate, first sorry for my bad english, hope you can help me ,im using the FS7 and its working good , the only thing is that when i press the ctl 2 or 3 the led light up but dont stay on, but the effects work...is it normal that both the light indicators dont lid...?the A is red light when press and green for B but its annoying beacuse i have to check on the gt 1 to know if the effect is on...any suggestion...

Hi, I want to get a footswitch for my gt1 and was thinking about the fs7. Can I use the footswitch without a Y cable, or do you need that cable for both switches to work for different assigns? Thanks

Hello there, Padawan. Thanks for your comment and question, I greatly appreciate it! You should definitely go with the FS-7, it's a great footswitch and it doesn't take up much space on the floor/pedlaboard. I absolutely love mine, and wouldn't trade it for anything! You can use either a Y-cable or a TRS-jack cable. The TRS-jack has two rings, instead of the one we normally see on regular instrument cables. You simply insert the TRS-jack into the A&B input on the FS-7 and it's all taken care of. I hope this makes sense. Best regards.

I got the fs7 but it wasn't working out for me as you suggested. Then realised that a stereo cable was different than my standard patch cable and luckily enough I had a trs in my bunch of patch cables. All working good now. Thanks

For single tap and for the light to turn on accordingly, set the pedal mode to latch (actual fs-7) and on the app (boss tone studio) put the source mode on CTL2 and CTL3 to moment. Hope that helps

Hi there Bryan. I'm sorry for the late reply, I've been running behind, catching up and answering to comments... This is covered in the Owner's Manual and Parameter Guide PDF documents, but I'll explain it here as well. In order to activate the Assign/FX with one press you need to set the FS-7's MODE to "FS-5U MOMENTARY" and the POLARITY to "I" This will enable you to press once to turn the Assign/FX on, and another press to turn the Assign/FX off.

The orange cursor you are using is bouncing in different directions than what you are talking about. The sounds of Buttons clicking but with delayed reactions in the video just made this tutorial too hard to follow for my old brain. You went too fast too.
