Boss katana Go headphone amp to a Cable Coupler or A/B box

If you have a regular un-powered cabinet you can get an Electro-Harmonics 44 magnum power amp. They also make a 5 and 22 power. I run the Go straight into the 44 mag (in) with a 1/8th to 1/4 cable out of headphone jack on the Go, then out of 44 mag (out) into speaker cab. Its like a pocket sized Katana head. You can also run your pedal board, HX, spark or Pod Go directly into a cab without needing an amp head. Sounds better to me than FRFR, combo amp 4 cable or PA.

Would not a 1/4 male to 3.5 adapter also works?

Couldn’t you just plug it into the output of any pedal ? Like a tuner pedal for example. That would make more sense than adaptors or a/b box I mean most guitar players are going to own at least one pedal

yeah that will work, but for those who dont have a pedal or a $100 tuner, the cable coupler w/c is a $5 is d cheapest and best option) …

@@WelroMapsGuitar no, I just don’t know what that boss katana device is and why you need the AB box, the katana device running into another device. I was hoping for some answers like, is this a direct input for a PA setup? Are you running that into a speaker cab? What’s the purpose of doing this? I’m not criticizing, I’m just curious

Are you running your katana go through another guitar amplifier or is the speaker a pa speaker, and if it’s a pa speaker is it an active or passive speaker? Im trying to do some research with pre amps and power amplifiers for live sound, any answers you can give would be great

@@BandXshow The Boss katana go is design as an headphone amp(modeller)… So just in case, you don’t want this attached to the output of your guitar, you can use, a tuner, ab box or a cheap coupler, to go direct to a FRFR speaker, or to a di box to PA for live performance… As for the features of the katana go, there r tons of vids here u can check… Thanks
