Hey brother, I just wanted to say I appreciate you keeping your ego out of this video and just getting down to the nitty gritty and making it easy for people who have learning disabilities after years of drug use learn things the easy way. I'm one of those people that learns by watching somebody do things and explain it when you get all that and I'm grateful for it. I think I'll subscribe to you just on that principle alone

I was thinking to send this back to Musicians Friend if all you could do was redial every channel. But now that i see customized channels I'm really impressed with the pedals on board this unit.

I bought this Unit today 7-6-17 and I used it to play music in our Praise Team in Church and not knowing for sure how to set it, I want you to know, that if you have any kind of an idea about individual pedals, you will find that this unit is a breeze. I Love it so far. I would Recommend Highly.

When you call up a preset (created manually or otherwise), how do you / the device know which effects were assigned to that preset. For example if you call up a preset and the preset has Mod on, how do you know which Mod effect was assigned to it in the first place. Please advice, I am baffled.

min 2:45 he switches between patches. for those that are interested to know if patch switching is quick or has latency. in this unit seems to be quick which is what i've been looking for. and no one ever demonstrates switching patches to check latency.

i have a question, say you have saved a setting in a user bank and you go to that patch again from another, the parameter levels will be at what you saved right? i.e not at the osition of the knobs as you may have tweaked them for other patches...? and, if you then go to manual mode on that patch, does it remain at the stored level until you tweak a knob? thank you for the video..
@guitarhub905 жыл бұрын
Yes it will be the same knob position.. kinda suck the trick is before tweaking the new patch try to tweak slowly so the setting will be seen on that particular knob otherwise you need to plug it to a PC to know the exact settings.

Can you run not only two delays at the same time but also run them in parallel.
@kd3507 жыл бұрын
EQ/FX2; MOD AND DELAY sections each have delays. One can run three delays simultaneously.

Hi bro....So i can only save on 9 user patch with 4 banks? Isn't it too short for musician's who gig regularly.. i mean in today's era in 1 song you are using 3 to 5 efx right so it means i have 9 slots of 9 songs only..

No it means you have 36 patches bro, pretty sure that’s enough

I saw a video and can’t seem to find it again about editing the values by holding down the edit button and turning the preamp level knob for example. The actual level will show up on the display as being in tune so to speak. Can anyone steer in the right direction? Thanks

How to know the parameters of a patch that is already installed? I mean there's is one patch that I like and I would like to know the parameters of it in details?

Connect to tone central via usb. In there you will see if what effects or parameters were used.

So are the presets that come in it permanent? There's no way to change them?
@acasegom9 жыл бұрын
You have 36 user patches you can write. Also, there are 36 permanent or preset patches. The closest way to change a preset patch, as the guy in the video does, is simply to modify one and write it as a user patch.
@acasegom9 жыл бұрын
So it has 36 permanent or preset patches and 36 writeable user patches. A total of 72 patches. The patches are divided into banks of 4 patches, one for each of the pedals below. The permanent banks are called P1, P2, P3... to P9, and the writeable banks are called U1, U2, U3... to U9. When playing, what you do is choosing a bank and then the patch. It's easy when you finally try the device.

Derek Kranz Be advised, an important feature is the EQ section. Say for ex. you set mod section on Chorus, then turn on EQ section, turn knob to chorus and turn up the level. It changes the sound a lot.

@@acasegom Is there a way to run Chorus and Flanger simultaneously in manual mode? If not, can the unit be customized/programmed to do so with the Boss software?

Mate, what in the name of all that's God and Holy are you trying to explain between 1:10 and 1:30? I haven't bought one of these yet so it's not physically in front of me but you were saying something about editing an existing patch but when you go to adjust or edit the sounds, you have to turn the knob until it finds the original vitual setting??? What's that all about?? Sorry for being a pest. I'm just looking for a simple patch saving tutorial.
