Thank you for demo-ing the pedal with the isolated sub octave. It definitely sounds more like a generated square wave synth, which is nice in a mix. Also, nice acoustic rendition of O Sacred Head!

You have a great sound!!! I just purchased the OC5 and trying to figure it out. I’ve gotten to the point where my low A & E strings sound great with the rest playing melody clearly but my problem is I can’t seem to get much effect on the D string without muddying up the rest. Would appreciate any suggestions.

I use this for acoustic singer/songwriting performing, which is mainly strumming and hybrid finger picking style of guitar. I only use about one quarter of the effect on the pedal for lowering the octave sound on the lowest note in the chord. What level do other people use? More than a quarter of the effect seems to really get muddy and distorted. How do you set it up to only get only the lowest note to go to just the subwoofer?

Well have you tried the Electro Harmonix Pico POG Octaver? i think for acoustic guitar its nice because the bass comes faster and with the OC5 there can be some bad delays... i like the OC5 bass sound better, yes. But latency could be a killer and tightness speaks for the Electro Harmonix one. still have to test.

Just got my OC5 . . . can I use it in a loop with another pedal? I have a Trio Plus I use for drums and looping. It has an output/input loop for effects pedals. Wondering if ok with OC5?

if you are using piezo pickups, there is a latency and the bass is so muddy.. i try using magnetic pickup, and it performs well.. no latency and no muddy bass sound..
