You're quite right to point out that the PS-5 also functions as "an octave pedal" for 1 or 2 octaves down. The sound is lighter and clearer than the corresponding 1 and 2 octaves down on the BOSS OC-3.

GREAT tutorial! i have this pedal too but find reading the manual tedious because there is so much this pedal can do. Your vid makes the relationships between the various controls and effect settings much clearer so I have a better idea of what this puppy can do. Thanks!

not many good sounds come out of this pedal. but the good ones make this pedal worth the space. i hate it so much i got 2 one for the bass board an one for the 6string board.

How do you set the RV-5 to the pedal to use it with the T Arm and the flutter; the manual has some cryptic instructions and crude drawings, but i'm clueless. Thanks!

hi, i really want to buy the boss gt-10b and i have some questions, i hope you can help. if i want to create a patch with several effects, that are in fx1/fx2, can i only have 2 at a time? like if i want a t.wah, synth, sound hold and octave at the same time, can i do it? or can i only have one in fx1 and one in fx2? thanks!

Sorry, my friend but it's a no go. You can only have 2 effects from the FX section at a time.
