Yes I have this pedal as well. How did they on this video access presets called Tear for fear? My number 7 preset is not called that.

@@seeker7133 They got this pedal from a rep who had all of his own presets. At least that is what I gathered. Shows there is quite a lot you can get out of the pedal with some tweaking.

I have an midi xy pad in my guitar in anxious to try setting the sy200 midi input to expression pedal to see if it can control the effects that would be pretty rad. ( the 200 appears to have options that would support this) I have the 300 which I love which is pretty big I don’t mind and it lets you design synthesis a little more which is cool when you wanna be a mad scientist. But there’s still a real appeal to the 200 some simple dedicated knobs not getting lost in menus and just using it as a pedal. I do not remember if the 300 had the same midi options but I guessing if I don’t remember it maybe it didn’t have exp as an option I’ll have to check Long story short I’m Jonesing to try a 200 as soon as I can pick one up ;)

How do u like the sire guitar? Im thinking of buying one i have 27 guitars but no les paul. Then i was wanting this Boss synth 200 dont no which to buy first 😢 help me make up my mind please can u use it in a live band situation? Or is it just a fun pedal to play with?? Got some questions. 1- How does the Sound Hold function work? Can I simply play on it while holding a synth or pad sound i.e.? And when the hold mode is active, is it possible to change the preset without breaking that held sound? 2- Are the factory presets actually created with the settings that are also tweakable by the user? I mean, if I delete a patch, it's gone for good or can I simply create the same with the available settings?

Is the display dimmable to an extend it would not hurt your eyes in low light like a GT-1 does?

Can you use the pitch-shifter function without the synth? To simulate a regular bass?

I don't think so...we had to return the pedal after the video so I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure that any pitch shifting is part of the synth sounds

The SY-200 has a HOLD function...you press it and it kinda freezes or repeats the last sequence...and then you can play over it
