This vocal processor unit is top of the line, recently purchased one. It really adds high definition and professional quality vocals to shine thru any project. For my needs, it’s a 10/10 for me! Also, you can sing and sound more advanced of your actual vocal ability, it is quite amazing in many ways.

Very nice tutorial! Simple, and easy to follow / understand! Showed many of the most likely used options, and how to modify them, if you so choose, and then save them. Thanks so much! I'm going to check out your channel further. Was wondering if you have a tutorial going through all the preset effects for the pedal. I think that would be cool, and fun, to see / hear! Thank you!

Great job man! Indeed the best video about this machine. Curious how it will translate for me on stage. just bought one. And I have a table stand for it. One question > is there another way to bypass the effect other than pushing the two knobs? Thanks again!

And one more question: how can I assign an effect only to the harmonizing voice and have the main voice clean?

Thank you! Best and most comprehensive Video about the V-22 out there 😁 Are you aware if I could use the usb-C to connect the pedal on an android phone/tablet/PC as an external mic? Thanks again for the great video brother 🙏

Oh, good question. Ill have a play around with input options. I suspect not as a mic. But thats soeculation. Will find out tho.

Hello! I connected the ve-22 to the PC after downloading the drivers and installing them, the word updater appeared on the screen and the harmony button flashes blue, is this correct? If I try to start the application on the PC it tells me it can't find the device, can you help me?
@ElijahMCbeats7 ай бұрын
If you can check you have the correct driver download. Then check the settings on thw device to make sure its on and if any settings are needed. Thats where i would check.

I just got mine -- My experience 1. Usb connector only allows music to pass through as background (documented) - WIndows Driver needs to be downloaded. 2. The Usb connector does not have a mode to allow you to save user presets 3. The key of the harmony cannot be globally set to FIX.. everytime you turn the preset, the key defaults back to C 4. Interesting - Autotune which is present as a default on most other brands is not present here,, have to figure out using the presets and save to User Memory So therefore the set lacks the ability to upload or save user presets and thus the internet community cannot share presets unlike the TC-Helicon products. I hope this can be accomodated later with a firmware upgrade

wow, is total crap compared to even the TC helicon Voice Live PLay... not to mention the 3 and 3 extreme.. but even the most basic TC helicon is a lot better than the Boss ve-22 then if one listen to your points here...

@@SimplicityForGood Unfortunately yes.. the VE-22 is meant for people with very simple needs. Whilst the TC products cater more to people with the desire to tweak.. Conflicts of interests in the VE product line also limits the functions of the Ve-22 as they have a competing product. I have researched carefully now and the best value for money is the TCH- Voicelive play electric/acoustic which has enhancements over the voice harmony effects(humanization), where as the basic voicelive play does not have these features.. Its sad that tc does not have them available in all their pedal products.. However you can download the manuals for Boss and TCH and compare the features.. I have VE-2 VE22 and now looking for a TCHVL Electric/Acoustic

@@MrEagleeye58 i see… there is also the voice live 3 and 3 extreme… why did you not choose the 3 model that is not as expensive as the 3 extreme but more capable than the voice live play acoustic and GTX model? … I play drums, piano, harmonica and sing… but I do not play guitar at all… so not so sure the acoustic and GTX models are useful for me!? But feel the extreme is complex and expensive… so any advice of what to choose? I love looping and making many voices
@MrEagleeye584 ай бұрын
@@SimplicityForGood Price and size . all depends on what you want. Just download and check the manuals carefully and see how far you are allowed to tweak.. The TCH productline is very complex and you need to pour through all the manuals very carefully.

I dont own one of these but i'm very impressed with your video..Good job! It looks like it would be more convenient mounted on a 'Mike stand shelf' and operated by hand.... Has anyone bought one? , what are your likes /dislikes..? Thanks.
@ElijahMCbeats7 ай бұрын
Great suggestion! My personal likes are the ease of use and its simplicity. Dislikes are the limited loop use as im used to having more channels/control options. But that can be worked around with extra pedals. Like the CTR1 and expression pedal additions. Its not a loop station in that sense. Its main function is for vocal effects. Which it does beautifully.

@@ElijahMCbeats Well i went ahead and bought one - It sounds great with my harmonicas and also makes my voice sound better /more interesting..A lot to learn, I downloaded the online manual and laminated the pages in A4 size which is very handy, Your video is the best one i have come across so far so it's much appreciated.Thank you.

I'll stick with the BOSS VE-20 that's thinner metal plastic buttons I'd be afraid it would break if stomped on. To much plastic fo me
@seanp2k6172 ай бұрын
I’ve got one and it’s a pretty sturdy unit. The buttons are substantial and have a good feel to them. It definitely doesn’t feel cheap or like it’s going to break anytime soon. They’re big targets and easy to step on. Boss don’t tend to make junk.

Sadly i had to return mine. I bought the VE-22 to replace my Tc Helicon Voice Live and what a disappointment. First, the lack of a PC editor and the option to BACKUP YOUR OWN PRESETS!!! C'mon BOSS!! I can't believe that a product from 2024 doesn't do that. Even the cheap chinese pedals allow to save a copy of your presets on an external device.

I recently got the Boss VE-22 Vocal Processor, and while it has some great features, I’ve encountered a couple of frustrating issues: Effect Cut-Off: When switching patches or turning off effects (like delay), there’s an abrupt cut-off instead of a smooth fade-out, which disrupts live performances. Effect Order Customization: There’s no option to change the order of effects, which limits flexibility when tailoring sounds. These are basic functionalities that are standard in other Boss units like the VE-500, so it’s disappointing that they’re missing here. I also couldn’t find any mention of these limitations in the official product description before purchasing, which feels misleading. Have any other VE-22 users noticed this? Are there any workarounds? I hope Boss considers addressing these issues in a firmware update!
