When you began the loop, you recorded some vocals over the top of the guitar but around 4:55 you had cut the vocals out and just had the guitar loop playing. Was this done with an external foot switch or were you using the vocal harmonies function and not looping the vocals at all?

Hiya Nathan Thanks for your message. The vocals on this video were not looped they were performed using the harmony function on the pedal. If you have any more questions, do not hesitate to ask. Kind Regards Gear4music

Is there the possibility to start and stop vocal loops and guitar loops independently? As you can record them separately

Hi Nathan From looking at the manual, it seems to suggest that you can’t start and stop the guitar/vocal loops independently. Many Thanks Gear4music

Hi, possibly a stupid question but, do you need to use an electric acoustic for it to work?
@macknolan4107 жыл бұрын
localhobo preferred but you could mic your guitar with a nice instrument mic but they are usually expensive in some cases over $1,000.00 for a real good one. you can buy a phenomenal acoustic guitar pick up made by LR Baggs for $200.00 to $300.00 plus installation without drilling holes in your guitar. You'll have to decide if your guitar is worth it. if you own a lower priced guitar might be worth it to buy a Taylor 214ce or 210e series acoustic guitar for $800.00 to $1,200.00 rather than to invest $300.00 in a $300.00 guitar. your guitar will still be worth $300.00. however Taylor uses the same expression II pickup in the 200 series guitars as the very expensive ones they sell $2,000.00 and above.

You mentioned the looper can be controlled also by an external footswitch. I can't get the extra footswitch to work with anything except scrolling through the presets

Hi sdmc222, Please can you let us know what footswitch you are using with your VE8 Acoustic singer pedal. Kind regards, Gear4music

can you press a button for solo to make it a bit louder on the fly
@gear4musicguitars8 жыл бұрын
Hello thearoom, Whilst there isn't a solo button to boost the signal, the BOSS VE-8 Acoustic Singer features a vocal doubling effect that will help to provide more depth and presence whilst singing. Kind regards, Gear4music

Hello, just wondering, is it possible to connect another looper to this so I can use the effects from the VE-8 and the looping ability from say, a RC30?
@gear4musicguitars7 жыл бұрын
Hi there Stacey, Thanks for getting in touch. Yes, in theory, it should be no different to adding any other guitar pedal to your signal chain. We hope this helps.
@staceyjane28607 жыл бұрын
It gives me hope! I just don't know in which order to connect. I'd assume VE-8 first so I can get the acoustic resonance from the pedal through to my looper. Ive never done signal chains before!
