This looks great! Would like to hear more of the acoustic tones!

This has the main VG functionality I use without the stuff I don't, and it'll fit nicely on a pedalboard. Serial GK is great as well. Ordered.

I was waiting for a new version of the variax but I think this is the one to go for me, at least I can put this into any guitar I choose

Guitar modeling. Logical next step. OMG you mean I can play open tuning slide solos then play the remainder of the song in standard tuning? Are you guys trying to break our brains? Chapter four just triggered my GAS. Damn You Boss!!
@alanredversangel17 минут бұрын
GP-10 has been able to do that for years. And possibly the VG99 thing, I can't remember.

The problem is not the lack of possibilities but in most cases the usability. I wonder how the presets are because too many devices require deep menu diving. I want to plug and play right away.

I’ll stick with the Line 6 Variax and Helix for now, but always interested in what Boss/Roland are doing. 👍🏻

Replaced your guitar pickup with expensive one. Then decide to buy this effect as your main pedal for live.

The little breakout box should have had an input for the guitars own pickups.

Does it have the 13 pin input? I have the Strat with the 13 pin already installed😊
@BOSSinfoglobalСағат бұрын
Using the GKC-AD Converter, you could effortlessly connect your 13-pin Guitar to this unit :)

@@BOSSinfoglobal I'll consider buying this or the GM--800 if Boss sells a mod kit for Roland-Ready Strats, otherwise I'll just stick with my Fender GC-1, SY-1000 and VG-900. I don't want this ugly external wart on my guitar when I already have a Fender GC-1, and I also don't want to deal with an extra box. IMO Boss would sell more of these if they sold Strat pickguards with the 13-pin pickup pre-installed (and leave traditional 3 pickup slots open for users to fill in themselves), and with clear instructions for removing the wood. It's a very simple job that any guitar tech could easily do, and would expand the user base.

@@BOSSinfoglobal It seems like this will have the same guitar modeling and amp modeling as my VG-99. Smaller footprint and no need for the DA converter I'm using now with the GM-800. Does that sound pretty accurate? Also, no ribbon or optic sensor as the VG-99. And the GM-800 has the 5-pin midi connector and the VG-800 has the mini phono connector. Is that about right? I pre-ordered it anyway.

@@BOSSinfoglobal 1. Will Boss bring a guitar to market with the GK-5 pickup factory installed in collaboration with a reputable guitar manufacturer as they have in the past?
