Ok, I WAS LIKE YOU, yes you! , who read this and still trying to make sound decision. I was checking every video and all possible online opinions for probably 2 days. I have red, heard about gyro drift issue and other negative stuff regarding Waza Air, but I took the leap. NO regrets whatsoever ! Giro thing is not that important, sound and freedom are. If you want best possible sound of your guitar through headphones, this is it ! no kidding. So, If you have paid all the bills and kids are feed, do not hesitate, in my humble opinion they are worth it. Playing along to backing tracks in any room you like is priceless. Exercising arpeggios on the toilet seat unforgettable :-)Trust me on this one ! If this comment helped you, please give me “like” below, I want to see lots of happy Waza Air users.

Just got these and am still checking them out obviously...2 cons so far....just wish the volume was a little bit louder (for both guitar and Bluetooth audio). I hate that these new devices are trying to “save” our hearing. Let people adjust as they need to. It’s their choice. Secondly. Super easy to connect headphones and guitar input, and device Bluetooth to my phone. There was a minor glitch that took about 30min when trying to get the phone app to be able to write and save patches.

So you should be able to plug transmitter into a floor modelers output , use a wireless unit like line 6 for guitar wireless, and stream bluetooth backing tracks from computer. You should now be able to use your floor modeler and play along with backing tracks all wireless from your modeler. Not sure but sounds good in theory.

Nice review! I bought one a couple months into lockdown, and I couldn’t be happier! I’m up at all hours of the night, and although I also have a child, but he’s 39, and is not a problem lol. My wife has gotten used to my late night wanderings, and I can jam as much as I want, and she doesn’t hear a thing. I had to buy a case and an extension because I am concerned about the dongle coming out of my Les Paul jack. I love this product, but the downside is it has too many different types of adjustments that I just don’t need to learn how to use. In other words, different sounds are not really straight forward, at least to me. I’m pleasantly surprised after a year, it is still holds up to hours of use.

Thanks for the comment really appreciate it. Glad you are enjoying it. I know what you mean about the different effects as there are so many you need a lot of time to get your head around it. I like to just get my delay and reverb down, get the amp on a crunch setting where it’s just starts to brake up into a dirty sound and then treat each effect like it’s a pedal I just bought and tweak it and play around with just one until I get some cool sounds and then repeat next session...worked for me so far. Tone studio is not available on MAC , only available on IPhone and IPad. 2. Pre created tones are not compatible with the Katana Air Or WAZA Air (my buddy had a katana 50 and created/downloaded a whole bunch of awesome tones that I could not add to the tone library of either my Katana Air or WAZA Air) 3. The price $$$ for that amount of money $600.00 CAD (each respectively with taxes) BOSS should have made both units compatible with all other Boss products (amps, tone studio variants etc) Other than that they are a great practice tool, but Cmon BOSS.... lets get some firmware updates to make them compatible with KATANA AMP tone studio patches ....

All wireless devices have issues when they conflict. All the guitar wireless systems use 2.4Ghz and that means microwaves, cordless telephones, baby monitors, etc. can interfere. Even 2.4Ghz WiFi can be a problem if you are close to an access point. This may impact the BOSS wireless as well as Xive and even Shure. Mileage varies as every environment is different.

I have been scouring the internet for months trying to pick up tips for tone but it is practically non existent. Do you have any advice to get a decent metal tone please?
@HempTech3 жыл бұрын
Hey man I’m also all about getting a sweet metal tone…totally agree that some sort of tone cloud would make these so much better! Tbh I use my spark amps tone cloud and then try and copy it as much as possible to the waza air headphones. I would just use the headphones straight into the spark amp but the waza air are head and shoulders about any headphones I have played guitar through…if I could merge all the sounds from the spark with the waza air I don’t think I would ever leave my house 😂 If you don’t have a spark amp I think u can still download app and have a look at some tones and all the pedals and amp settings involved in the tone…for example metalligrit is a great tone for master of puppets and leadallica as u have probably guessed is an amazing lead sound. There are some sweet KSE tones in there too for drop tuned goodness…hope that helps 🤞🏼

@@HempTech Thanks for replying, really appreciate it. I will look into that and from the sounds of it that should help.
